References! References! References! Thats always good for anatomy~ And something thats really helped me improve is tracing. I know, I know, your whole life your art teachers have yelled at you to not trace. But its different when its for practice! Tracing is a GREAT way to practice! Just like musicians play other musician's songs to practice before jumping right into playing their own music! Google some stock images, or find some on deviantart, or posemaniacs.com, or even pictures of yourself! Just pick a bunch and trace them! You don't have to turn them into finished works (in fact, I wouldnt suggest it. Just get the form done and start on your next one!). Its very helpful. And then, when you have a general idea of the human form, you'll be able to draw it on your own, and do your own poses, and you may not even need references anymore. 3nodding Just remember that tracing other peoples works is NOT a good idea! Just use stock images!
Also, a redline for you!
