Yep. I'm the same. And I'm even in the Philippines, yet I can't understand a thing my relatives say. Well, some of it. Even the Filipino subject is hard. crying

Guys,let me speak english just for now.. First of all, i'm not happy to see a thread like this... Theres nothing to be proud of if u cant speak tagalog...I know some feel sorry because of that..But sad ....Guys, if u can't speak tagalog, well you should try your best learning how to speak your own country's language... Hope that someday, every FILIPINO around the world will have enough knowledge in speaking tagalog...As a respect for their own country.. ....

Full Filipino (im quite proud) only know like 10 tagalog words -_-

I'm half filipino and I know quite a bit, but I can't say a whole sentence, I just know several words.xD

I'm a Filipino but there are words that I can't understand nor pronounce properly (like nagugulumihanan. Thanks Google!! XD) I mean, I do speak Tagalog everyday but sometimes I accidentally mix it with some English Phrases or Words coz it's either i dunno or i forgot the Tagalog term for that. Also, for some stupid reasons, I get higher grades in English than in Filipino, but I'm working on it biggrin
