[Heart_of_Elemental]

~"Don't worry about it."
Tasha smiled.
~"And just don't tip the boat. Piere there might have a fit about it."
He looked at Piere.
~"So how much longer till this little cruse is over?  

[Elemental_Fighter]

~"Three tunnels til the outskirts of Venice. That is where the pier is and that is where you both can get off. Besides if you wanted to get off sooner, there are no other steps that lead up there until the pier."

Piere stood up with the stick, turned the corner, and sat back down.

~"No more whirlpools."  

[Heart_of_Elemental]

~"That's good. And I told you earlier that you could let me off whenever. I really don't mind."
Tasha sighed and looke up at the sky.

Arianna hated the fact that her book was lost was in effect. She sat knees bent with her legs to her right side.  

[Elemental_Fighter]

~"Hey, what's that?"

Piere reached for something lying next to Tasha's leg.

~"What's this? A Romance novel? Who reads romance novels?"  

[Amaranthix]

Arianna's eyes lit up and grabbed the book.

-"It's not a romance story! ...It has other things too."
Arianna smiled and laughed a small laugh.

Tasha laughed.
~"What else would a romance book have in it but love stories anyway?"
He looked at Arianna.
~"All the ones I known of are like that."  

[Elemental_Fighter]

Piere had them duck under the second tunnel because it was a low one.

-"This just so happens to be Romeo and Juliet, I'm reading it for my literature class. So you should know the story...It's more than just a mindless love affair."  

[Heart_of_Elemental]

Tasha laughed.
~"You mean the two love struck teens caught up in the middle of a war between families. Yeah, I know that one."

He felt for his sword behind him.
~"Lots of people die. And the two main kill themselves just to be together forever. It's interesting but not really in my forte of reading."
He shifted the sword back into his lap.  

[Elemental_Fighter]

~"Love, ha. Romance novels only null down what real love is. Yes, love is very passionate, but love also hurts deeper than what it shows. I know because of my father."

They all pass under the third bridge.

Arianna sat with the book on her lap and her hands atop. Feeling a bit awkward and finding nothing to add to their conversation, she set her gaze to the passing buildings. Not many lights shown through the old windows, which, to Arianna, made the night even more beautiful. The moonlight, the stars, the lamp light glittering over the surface of the water made everything in the world just seem like a chapter in one of her books.
Catching the cool night air through her hair, she adjusted her hair to hang over her right shoulder, revealing a small butterfly tattoo where her neck met her left shoulder.

Natural beauty...It's wonderful. Too bad this will end soon, and I...no, everyone will have to get back to their busy lives filled with work, misery, and hassle until we all surrender into Mother Earth itself...

Piere, still wondering about her book, asked a question to Arianna.

~"Do you like romance novels?"  

[Amaranthix]

Turning her attention to Pierre, she looked deep within her mind to answer the question.
-"...That's a tough question. Do I like novels completely drawn out with love and drama? No. Although, a good book, to me anyways, is never complete without a little romantic conflict. In other books, I do prefer the small love scenes to the repetitive battles scenes...I guess you could say that I'm more interested in dialog. So to answer you question, I can't exactly give you a yes or no."
Looking back at Pierre she tilted her head and shrugged, having failed a simple question.

"I bet your major is literature, is it not?"

Piere sat down and let the boat drift to the pier. It was getting close yet it was farther away than what it looked.
