Kunx is right, Jockamoe. Vayu's Special Summon effect isn't a Synchro Summon.
Lone Silver Wind's requirements only abide to the Synchro Summon.

I got some pretty neat pulls at the Sneak. Everyone wanted my Card Guard eek and one gentleman offered me his playset of Dark Bribes. It's still not confirmed if it's gonna be in the Warrior Structure, so I took the deal.
I also pulled an Ultimate Ancient Fairy Dragon, a couple Earthbound Immortal Csullu, one of the Whale EI (forgot his name), a Gottoms, and a Koa'Ki Meiru Gravirose.
I made top 4 in the mini tournament, and my friend won the mat. Overall it was a pretty neat day, even though the winner cheated stare

at armycatjackamoe:yeah we all misread vayu's effect lol but that dumb card is sellin for 50 bucks on ebay and a bit less at my local hobby league.
its gonna be a while before i can buy it.dam that sucks how am i suppose to build a blackwing deck now? gonk

I pulled Vayu, card blocker,and the zombie koaki meiru. It was awesome i was offered about $60 for card blocker and vayu. but because my deck was stolen awhile ago i traded them for a blackwing deck. and then retarted story the person who stole my deck was at the sneak peak dueling with it and i almost got in a fight with him and lost my best friend ugh. >.>

My most notable pull was an Ultra Rare Ancient Fairy Dragon. All the others weren't worth it.

i was upset i couldnt go to the sneak peak. but oh well... ill be getting AFD in the tin. i plan on getting all 5 D's in secret rare tin form XD. whenever the 5th will be release that is. otherwise, there wasnt anything i wanted from Ancient Prophecy

Lana Valkyrie sasori811 can one of you please explain it to me?i really dont get(im such a noob lol)i think vay is a horrible card and i dont see the point of it.why remove two monsters from play just to synchro when u can synchro normally with the other tuners and just send them to the grave Because why not do both? The difference is this: You have two monsters on the field, and tune both for one Synchro. Your field loses two monsters, and gets one in return. You remove monsters from the graveyard, and your field gains a Synchro monster. Technically, your field itself loses nothing from this, only gains. It's the same principle as Mezuki during 2008; you're getting monsters, for free. Kenshin Yuki, Skill Drain gives that advantage of evening the playing field. When your effectless Armor Master attacks your Gladiator Beast opponent's set Hoplomus and it lives thanks to Waboku, they reach for their Murmillo, and find it without an effect. Lightsworn halts the mill that's necessary to speed the deck, and all hopes are on Honest and an effectless Judgment Dragon to knock the Synchros down. Skill Drain also offers the advantage of using Vayu on the field. So when you go summon that Armor Master and send Vayu and Elphin to the Graveyard, remove them from the game to get another. If anyone thinks to play D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation, they can potentially get a Stardust Dragon or Colossal Fighter onto the field; Synchro Monsters that will still work with Skill Drain active. Or you can just special summon it with Blackwing - Shura the blue flame. It will negate vayu's effect on the field so it can be used as a regular tuner and after it hits the grave you can sychro summon again to summon two powerful synchros without the use of skill drain so only one of your synchro monsters effects are negated due to vayu's effect.
