I wouldn't mind Monster Reborn getting hit by the ban hammer again.
With all these OTK decks running around, especially those that strive off a Grave, I think Konami is really trying to push for a D.D Meta Deck xd

Nope, they are the same. We, the TCG, get our list from the OCG.

The whole point of this format is to slow the game down some. Current format had no strategy involved in it. The best deck was cheap as eff, so most bought it. Not really any strategy involved.

If Fissure and Breaker were unlimited, the game would get chaotic.. lol fissure is a terrible card, smashing ground takes out highest def which in most cases is also the highest atk, lightning vortex takes out all face up monsters there are better monster destruction cards. Breaker on the other hand is amazing and at 3 he gonna be shoved into most decks again just because.

Not really any strategy involved. i agree this format killed off almost all OTKs, which is good cause now duels can last 5 or more turns, but the problem in my head is why did lightsworns remain complete?

Yeah that bothers me...I would have at least like to see Honest or JD go to 1.
Thing is, LS isn't very big in Japan. It never caught on. Now they have Charge and Ehren so we'll have to see March 1st if our OCG brethren will start using them...
X-Saber is most likely the new Meta in Japan. They have some pretty scary combos...

Synaku_Blade Yeah that bothers me...I would have at least like to see Honest or JD go to 1. Thing is, LS isn't very big in Japan. It never caught on. Now they have Charge and Ehren so we'll have to see March 1st if our OCG brethren will start using them...
LS has never been all that big here in the TCG either (except when they won that 1 championship). They have always been close to the top but were always overshadowed by decks such as TeleDAD, Synchro Cat, etc... Heck, my Macro Monarchs were able to take them down easily as long as I had a good starting hand.
