What made me not want to be a christian was because the bible says "God loves all his children" yet the homosexuals go to hell for being "diseased". As one of my favorite.... I don't know what to call him, youtuber said "I sure do feel sorry for the other people with diseases like cancer". Then there was some pastors and stuff that said some iffy things out of the bible, I can't remember them. Then some other pastors I was like ._. Cause they were trying to make eve look stupid because she found an edible food source and wanted to share it with her partner. I'm sorry but that seemed pretty logical to me. Then they just started being sexist and yeah, changed the channel.

So like I've told other people I believe there is a "god" which is a divine spirit, but I don't know if its name is god so I won't call it that. I just base that off my personal experiences, our family is very spiritual, my grandfather very religious and so is my mom, so I think for that reason we've had the experiences we've had. If it wasn't for those I wouldn't believe that there was a demonic and divine spirit.

Have to agree. I live in a very religious town, but I am atheist. Sadly, my mother is a bit of a religious fanatic. I once counted 29 religious references in my living room alone. She used to make me go to church for an hour every morning before school for a year. It was bulls**t. At the start of the next year, I messed up my knee at band practice and wouldn't get up in the mornings to go, so I got out of it. Now that it's healed, she still doesn't make me go. Woot, I won that battle. All it cost me was the ability to walk normally for three months. I hate my life.

The christain bible is belived by so many people because it was able to predict things, Such as gays bis and lesbians. It is also used by the relgion known as Science to explain many things that they couldn't.
If you are going to post something like this I suggest you do more research before making such a rude and racist opinion!

but people are entitled to their own opinions..
I'm a Christian..I fully believe in Christ and put my faith into him..
but at also..I am a hypocrite..admittently but in Christianity who isn't a hypocrite? lol..
My Own Reasons for Hypocricy: Suicide...satanic practices at one point in my life..Hatred for others..I disrespect my Mother..but she's abusive and uncaring..so I find this Rule in Christianity is unfair.."Thou Shall Honor Thy Mother and Thy Father"...
what if your Father isn't worth respecting..what if he left you..to pursue a new life..
What if your Mother is an abusive drug addict, who couldn't care less about you or your wellfare..Is it still Sin if you don't respect them..
I find some things in the Bible highly Debatable..but I still follow most of it's guidelines..and I still put my Faith in God..

You have to look at the word respect first. To respect some one means that they have done something to earn it. Also remember the word forgiveness later in the future with your parents it might help.
If you do not respect them in any way then that might explain some of their behaveor to you. If your mother is like that then you need to tell some one that can help you, Yes this is what most people have told you I'm sure and I am posative that you have declined this. After you get away from her it will help her as much as it will you.

Science is real. Science is something that we can hold in our hands. God isn't physical. He is a being of Spirit, so we cannot physically touch Him. Science refutes the Bible at every turn...On the surface. If you take the Bible at face value, you will get nothing. You have to realize that God is timeless, and that He relays His works in a timeless manner.

Marijuana was used as an intoxicant that far back. But Jews were given strict laws to follow to separate themselves from the pagan tribes. If other tribes were doing drugs, Jews were not.

I agree people should have opinions but when they spew out racist stough like this that is when it is time to say enough. I do not care for anyone that is recist. Also I strongly suggest people look further into things if they plan on making any kind of opinion on it. This helps them to avoid looking stupid and like now racist.

Sense you did not read all of the other posts you should not have posted "You people"! I agree this person should go to church, But saying that God is life and that we wouldn't be here with out him is also racist to those who do not belive in him. The bible also says not to judge but many of the people that live by the bible happen to judge many things animals and humans.
Moses did not write the bible he wrote down "gods word" the ten comandments. The person that wrote the bible I do not know much about but it was a some what aged man that had lived life and spoken to god he wrote out the bible as god spoke to him.
The first bible was written in lattin which I might point out is not the oldest language. When the oroginal bible was translated to english a few things were mistranslated and added. The bible can not be considered 100 persent true but the first bible is kept in the catholic vault. not sure where that is.

um maybe the first person has gone to church but found the religion to be utterly unrealistic. and people who are talkin about a religion and how they dont believe in it, isnt really good time for a person who talks just like a Jehovah's witness to start talking about how great god is. so just let people talk about their opinions about religion and stop trying to convert people to christianity stare

These has to be the least racist post/opinion here. I agree with christians being racist about gays in bis, The bible use to be racist against black people as well but it was edited and changed. I hope that the same will happen for all other people.
I quit the christain beliefs because it was very racist against a few things. I have joined many religions and come out with almost everything there is to know about each one. I have tryed satanic religions buddahism christianity and judaism.

Those people get affended because you don't even want to try. It would be better if you don't just flat out say that you are athiest just say that you have tryed and you have made your opinion on it already. and then make a complemant for them to know that they did not upset you.

Athiest is a religion in fact it is one of the top ones it is # 3. It is also known as Secular, Nonreligious, Agnostic.
