What if...

What if?
What if I disappeared?
What if I left and never returned?
What if, one day I was just, gone?

Would you miss me?
Would you cry?
Would you weep?

Would you have wanted things to turn out different?

How do we move on,
When each time I take a step forward,
You move backward,
Closing your thoughts and feelings,
How am I suppose to care for you,
When I try to comfort you,
You move away out of touch,
Not letting me come in to hold you.
How do I say I love you,
When I say those three words,
Your face turns cold,
Letting all emotion drain of you.
How do I tell you everything will be alright,
When I try to speak,
You turn away not listening,
Leaving me there with words gone unsaid.
How can we focus on the present,
When you continue o live in the past,
Crying for the child we lost,
Never moving forward are you,
Staying where we last lost,
The one thing important in our lives,
But how do you become happy,
When the true happiness in our lives,
Is not here to share in the day,
How do we continue to live,
Forgetting the pain of loss,
But remembering the child we lost.

Wonderland of Mirrors

In a distant land there lives a mystical lady. She
holds many mirrors that contain different visions.
One of the mirrors holds a beautiful forest. Inside the castle are many flowers and candles that radiate a sweet fragrance.
In the next mirror there is a young girl who never ages or grows old. She is beautiful but sad. Her mother has died and she yearns to hear her voice again. In yet another mirror there is a couple who are deeply in love. They enjoy picnics and strolls in the moonlight. They delight in each others company.
Then the mirrors fog up forever and the images are gone. The mystical lady waits for the fog to clear so she can
see what they will hold next.
