It's great that I forgot about the announcement! I'll just get cash the safer way.

Vengence of Areashine It's great that I forgot about the announcement! I'll just get cash the safer way. I don't mind buying Gaia Cash to support this site. I don't like the way Gaia failed to provide safety for it's users for the free cash.

Common sense isn't subjective and a lot of people are not as computer savvy as the could and probably should be.

In response to all the complaints, gaia has decided to feature the sponsored cash offers on the Home page under the 'Keeping the Lights On' heading.

That's no so much a scam as it is a... Well... Yeah, it's a scam, but not in the usual sense. Think of it as being given money that you can only use on Gaia, in exchange for the safety of your computer. Oh, i don't think it's worth it either. It's just another example of Gaia's insatiable corporate greed being allowed to run the site. If you don't want to support pure corporate greed, then don't buy RIGs. A lot of people are understandably upset about this. Hopefully the pletora of topics about it will lead to a change, but I doubt it. Gaia doesn't listen to their users, anymore.

Sadly, Gaia has been overrun by corporate types out to turn the site in to a $$$ business... I'm not sure that was the original intent of the site, but it's definitely not the same place it was when I first started here.

Take what you can... Yup, I've seen that thread about those free Gaia Cash 'offers' in the GCD. It's unbelievable that Gaia could sink so deep. Gaia, you should be ashamed of yourselves! mad ...Give nothing back

Lil Brat I'm not sure that was the original intent of the site, but it's definitely not the same place it was when I first started here. It wasn't, it was designed for people who have common interests. Gaia just grew faster then they intended.

I saw 7-11, Walmart, and Target still sell the $10 cards. Perhaps they just ran out and didn't restock.
