Fiddlers Green Recursive Paradox Does metal jewelry used as focus points of psychodrama count as ritual garb? I'd say so. For my part, it depends what I'm doing. Secular rituals often have their own outfit and accoutrements that are mostly unique to the rituals in question. All of which are strictly non-sharable. There are certain symbols/colours/things that certain Amesha like, I try to keep that in mind when dressing to call to them. Same holds true for dealing with the local Geni, but it's really more a matter of chatting them up than performing a ritual. I suppose I could find out if they favour any specific garments. If so, I would try to wear them when hanging out.
Normally I trace symbols into the air but for some things I need something more concrete to hold a tiny sliver of my concentration on channeling the energy flow when I need to do long term stuff.
A copper asymmetrical blade with an eye shape in the hilt on a chain would work the best for aggressive blades Essence that I use for shielding.
A darker colored metal, closer to blue or stained blue with an eye shape in the hilt on a chain would work for the defensive blades Essence.
The blade would probably be the size of a finger and not actually sharp. And of course, silver or some other metal used to make symbol pendents for several of the Aspects I channel.

TeaDidikai Violet Song jat Shariff TeaDidikai Basically I was thinking a loose tunic top and some yoga capries. 3nodding . That would work well for ritual garb! What do you think of wrap pants? Oh those look nifty!

Ashley the Bee Recursive Paradox Wow, I just made the Water Aspect sound like a complete perv. o_O It doesn't help that I keep gendering her like the silly anthropomorphizing human I am. Perhaps it's just that, in English, it seems impolite to use "it", rather that necessarily anthropomorphizing a Water Aspect as female? Anyway, I'll stop being off-topic now. sweatdrop
I do get uncomfortable using "it" for the Aspects that seem more sentient than others. I'm not quite sure why I went with a female anthropomorphization of Water, prolly just because I have some psychological associations in my head.
I really don't think she has an actual gender.

Talked with my Woods, they prefer if I don't bring plastics into them. They also don't like shoes with cleats. At least that's what I think they were expressing. They may have meant other foot spike things, but I'm not sure. I really haven't been able to make heads or tails of the other preferences, and some had conflicting preferences.
When addressing them, I tend to use Ven, if gender is in question, I don't know what language it came from, or if it even did. I use ven as a gender neutral pronoun that indicates a sentient. Some geni take on anthropomorphic traits when I interact with them. I'm not sure whether it is to make me more comfortable, because it's fun, because it's funny, or because they are trying to be polite and address me in a like form/concept. It may be any/all of the above. there is still plenty of conceptual territory where we can't exactly communicate. Some colours help tho, as to postures and materials. Some of them... project/assume?... as a specific gender, I never stopped to ask if it was by nature, choice, or to fulfill some expectation they felt.
Mostly befuddled I meditate in my underwear neutral Does it help? surprised
