A crooked smile appeared on Janu's face when he realized the woman was here. Taking out his chain, he used it like a whip, going for the dog's neck. He couldn't blame the dog for wanting to protect his owner and he had to admit that the dog was well trained.

Rufus gave a loud series of yelps and barks, causing Leera finally to stir and wake up as she stumbled out of bed. Rufus was instantly caught by the neck, still aiming to take out the man. A few sounds could be heard from somewhere in the house, along with something dropping. Soon enough Leera appeared with a long bow, glaring. "Get off my dog!" She yelled, ready to shoot Janus.

Janus grabbed the dog by it's hackles raising it so that was was half way out the window. "You won't shoot me if you value this dog's life." he said making the chain a little tighter. This dog was heavy and he wouldnl't be able to hold it for much longer.

Leera glared, knowing that it was probably a trick, knowing that if she lowered her guard, she would be next. Pulling the string back, she shot at him, hoping that Rufus would be okay, but doubting it. 'Sorry Rufus..' She thought, frowning and fletching another arrow.

Of course he dropped him but held onto the chain so she could hear him choking. The first arrow reached him shoulder, as he took out another chain. A few more seconds passed and he let go of the chain that had been choking the dog, since now it was probably dead. Using his good arm, he used the chain as a whip again, going for her waist.

Leera's eyes widened when she heard Rufus choking, her eyes set on Janus with a glare. As he dropped the chain and pulled out another, swinging it at her, Leera jumped back, wincing when it hit her stomach. She shot at him again, making it obvious that she wasn't going without a fight.

He moved to a different part of the room before going start at her. It would probably take her a few seconds to get out another arrow. With the chains in one hand, he grabbed her hand that was going for the arrow. Janus wasn't going to let her beat him, he had been waiting for this for too long to back down now.

Leera narrowed her eyes, dropping her bow and arrow before using her free hand to pull out a dagger. She flipped it around her fingers with a glare, quickly proceeding to stab him as she watched him. Then, she pulled on her hand, trying to get away from him. She wasn't going down so easily.

He inhaled sharply when she stabbed him. Taking his arm that wasn't harmed he quickly wrapped the chain around her waist and pulled it. He knew he was going to have to knock her out if he wanted to get her out of her.

Leera stumbled forward as he yanked on the chain after wrapping it around her waist. Her anger raised and she wrestled to get free from it before he could do anything, not wanting to be taken, desperately reaching for another dagger that was hanging on a wall nearby.

Taking her wrists, he held them with one hand, wrapping the other chain around them. He had enough of her desperate attempts to break free. Putting the ends of the chains into one of his hands, Janus raised his sword, the sharp end pointing away from her, about to hit her over the head with it.

Leera frowned, trying to get out of the chains before she stopped completely, not wanting to get knocked out. "Okay! I give!" She murmured, glaring as she lowered her hands in defeat. Escaping would be harder now, and to get out of the situation faster, she needed to be conscious.

He stopped, looking at her. "If you're lying, the only thing that you'll get out if it is more pain." he said, putting his hand to her neck gently. Janus took a step back. "Do you have any other weapons on you?" he asked in a low voice, not wanting to search her, but he would in the end. Janus wrapped the chain around his arm, he wasn't going to let her go, even if he was bleeding badly by now.

"Two daggers in a holster on my leg, each on a different leg, let's see.. another dagger in a sheath on my left upper arm... And... Then a pack of crescent blades on a belt around my waist... Happy?" Leera glared, her voice filled with hatrid. He'd just killed her one and only companion, her pet, her trustworthy friend. She didn't like the fact that his hand was near her neck, and she didn't know what he was going to do, but she'd act like she was giving in and wait for his guard to go down then escape.

He walked over to her and started pulling the weapons out from the places that she had told him about. He did a quick search afterwards before taking a step back. Janus put his hand to her neck again. "I can't risk you being conscious right now." he said before knocking her out. He picked her up and set her down on the bed, slowly looking at the wounds that she had given him.
