The world is a Vampire

Rebecca looked at him and laughed softly. "You don't want to sit there." She shrugged and walked to the back of class. All of a sudden Ms. Steadman came into the room. "Oh hello yuo must be the new student." She said spitting at every word.

"Yes'm!" he brightened, trying to ignore the way she 'enunciated' every word. He glanced at Rebecca for a moment, calculating where the best place to sit was.

Rebecca waved at him then just smiled as the teacher kept spiting while talking.

Gid took it, trying to think of a way to get out of the conversation. "Well, Miss Steadman, it's nice meeting you," he said awkwardly, picking up his books and stepping away.

Rebecca rolled her eyes and put her hand up so he could get away. "Ms.Steadman...I've been showing Gid around so wouldn't it be a little better if he sat in a back with me?"

She nodded her head and walked to her desk.

Rebecca waved her hand for him to come ot the back with her.

Gideon followed her, "Thank you," he said in a soft voice.

Rebecca just shook her head. "No problem but if you think thats bad you should see the other teachers...Oh yeah and watch out for Madame Duvall...Shes a creeper..."

Gideon looked at her, then at his books. "Oh," he murmured, a bit confused. None of his schools (usually private all-boys academies) had been truly bad.

"Just make sure you don't sit at the front..in any class if you can avoid it..." Rebecca said as she brought out her ipod and put one earbud in her ear. She offered him the other earbud. "Want it?" She asked as it blasted 'rescue me' by Hawthorne Heights.

He shook his head, "I'm more of an a-Ha guy," he replied, giving her a slight smile. "Maybe another time."

She shrugged. "Oh well." She said as she sighed and put the headphone in her own ear. She started to sing softly as she started to work on the work they were assigned.
