I'd think fangirls want someone to get a**l. *buh-dum-tish*
"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."

surprised O NO U DIDN'T!

:3 I do so love yaoi-theme accessories (I got one of those rubber wristbands that charities usually make, but this one says "warning:yaoi content" in both English and Japanese, heh. It's a relatively subtle way to signal other fangirls or something xD)

Me being an aspiring designer though, for bigger things like bags and clothes I'd like some classy-looking designs instead of just symbols and text (unless, of course, the symbols and text are really funny like THIS)
:3 I'd totally buy a yaoi club v-neck if it was knitted... and had a different color logo :/
- Oscar Wilde.
Oh damn I want that shirt now.
....but only if it says "It isn't different at all, is it Steve?" on the back.

Meh the only kind of yaoi like accessories I'd be willing to get would be a necklace with an uke or seme symbol on it.....and maybe some cute underwear that had something on it.

I'd totally want yaoi underwear too :3
I made a rainbow yaoi fangirl necklace xD 'twas fun.

@Serith Moren
I have the seme version of that top smile My best friend got the uke one. Did you get the blue/white version or the newer pink/purple/grey one?

Oh, and hey, at least we're not as bad as the twilight fangirls .__.
- Oscar Wilde.
Meh the only reasons I don't get those kinds of things is I just still view them as anime merch. I'm not a fan of that in the least really. Well....at least not in public.

Although I did like these shirts, but then again I do kind of like that kind of humor.
This one (but it's only in XL and XXL) =(
and this one

All the other ones are taken.
=(
Damn my sick sense of humor.
"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."

xD Haha oh god imagine the looks on people's faces if they see that first one *snort* I'd wear it just to provoke such things 8D
Mine's like yours except a circular print and navy sleeves instead of black... huh. Maybe it's some new design. That purple one is honestly hideous. I can't see why they changed them..

I like some anime merch. Like cute keychains or messenger bags :3 But there are limits, I'll admit.

Hope and pray that you never need me,
but rest assured I will not let you down.

My craziest experience was at Onicon when my friend and I went as Hikaru and Kaoru. In line for the masquerade, a bunch of people behind us were asking if we would kiss for pictures, so we were like yeah, cool, and just started. Well, someone apparently was filming, and was like I WANT TONGUE, so we um. Well. There was tongue, and then the deafening drone of screaming — and I mean SCREAMING, like make-my-ears-hurt screaming — echoed in the convention hall. Yeah. They can get pretty crazy. Though I do go into any convention in cosplay expecting to (and hoping for) do fanservice, so I can't say I disliked the attention.

I walk beside you, but you may not see me.

Funny thing is,most of the fangirls I meet are pretty sane.
Then again,its the quieter ones I know.So that could explain it.

People naturally notice the negatives more than the positives.
So the louder ones tend to outshine the quieter ones and make us look bad.
You'd be surprised to hear that there are more sane yaoi fangirls than there are insane.

The best place to find the crazies is at an anime con Dx

Oh my, I wouldn't mind being around that if I didn't have such a strong dislike of cosplay and hated the sound of excited screaming (concerts don't count. xp )
Also I can't think of any of my friends I would want to do that with.

A friend of mine cosplays Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, and has the braid to pull it off. Here in California we have something called Yaoi Con, and about two years ago she went there as Duo and ran into a fangirl who asked if she could chew on my friend's braid. Awkwardness ensued.

Honestly though, most of us fangirls aren't as crazy as we act at conventions (or online). Something about the air there (and the very pretty cosplayers who like to play up to their audience) brings out the more extreme traits.

Hence the awkwardness. My friend was like "...the ********? NO. GTFO." Except she was nicer about it than that and actually let the scary woman take pictures before running the ******** away. I admire her ability to stand firm in the face of crazy.

I think the funniest thing about yaoi-con is that mostly girls go....and I assume since it's yaoi-con there is much making out.....between girls who are cosplaying guys.....I don't know if many of the girls there hate yuri....but if they did that would be hilariously hypocritical.

Actually, what scares me even more than rabid yaoi fangirls is the rabid anti-yaoi fangirls. Far smaller in number, but scary as hell when you come across one.

Well, them and the rabid anti-yuri fangirls. Can't we all just get along and share the porn?

hm, I love yaoi fangirls, I think im one of them but I wouldn't start screaming and crying if guys started making out
I would just think is was really hot. I havent had any experience with them
and I like yuri as well so when chicks cosplay as guys and make out I can fangirl about two things >w<

and anti-yaoi fangirls?? I dont think I ever want to cross paths with them o.o

I have two reactions to anti-yaoi fangirls; tears-in-my-eyes-laughter or can't-think-straight-rage, depending on how they present themselves.

:< Fangirls who are anti-yuri are pretty annoying. It's so...nooby. It's like it's not enough to like something, you have to passionately hate the opposite to it just because ._.;;

Anti-fangirls... Meh. I guess they can hate it if they want to ._. I mean,I'm and anti-twilight fangirl, so I guess I can't judge. I just think it's a bit of a waste of time to tell yaoi fangirls that they are wrong, or complaining about them (there was an LJ comm or something called anti-yaoi, it was a little sad to see them linking posts to yaoi sites and being all LOOK AT THIS ITS SO STUPID THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK)
I usually don't really care as long as they're not polluting the sites I like with their incessant trolling e_e;;

In my defense, though, Twilight really is crap. And it's a bit too funny to not waste time hating. (I mean come on, sparkly "vegetarian" vampires? really?)

Oh, I don't care if someone doesn't like the same things I do. It just makes me laugh (or rage) when they decide to expound on their hatred at great length, generally through badly typed journal entries or comments on the work of other people.

And I totally agree about the Twilight thing. I couldn't get past chapter 4, the writing was that bad.
