Pent and Ten nope, even if they did both to put that thing on a disk, it's still just on the computer it's more like the duelist kingdom kinda thing There are two main major parts to a computer, the computer itself(also know as the tower and many other names) and the monitor, it's the tower that has all the information, whereas the monitor just projects it. Those big hunks of metal on the table in front of those guys are the computers, the screen where they're looking at all the information is just a monitor, and you could easily make a portable monitor to go with their big hunks of metal. The real problem at this point merely lies in the weight and power reserves of the duel disks.

Another way to display it(a way that is friendlier to us with sleeves as well) is to just stick a camera on the tables that is connected to them and have it displayed on a big screen >.>

I'm not underestimating their accomplishment, but that didn't impress me. When I started the video I really was hoping for holograms to appear over the cards facing the opponent. Or something like in the show. All that is, is an an alternate to a cameraman taping a duel and putting it on a monitor for a surrounding crowd to watch. Maybe having anything like in the show will forever be fiction, and I doubt anyone would waste the resources to make it happen, but anything less than that doesn't make me raise an eyebrow.

I've actually come up with several ways for a working duel disk to operate, ones that are actually doable. The only hard part would be getting the holograms to function. Even getting the duel disks to connect to one another wouldn't be hard.
Granted, I wouldn't know how to program any of this, the basic systems are all down.

One step at a time.

Too many of you believe Holograms are possible. Face facts, actual holographic projections are impossible at this time without a special medium such as a special glass structure and even that would be difficult. Light needs something to reflect off and it isn't possible to simply reflect it off the air.

It is with heat, heat refracts light all the time, even looked past someone grilling on a barbecue and seen the hedges next to them look blurry?

That's quite neat. With the way technology is improving these days I wouldn't be surprised in TCG playing goes in that direction.

Refraction and reflection are completely different issues. You're right, they are two completely different things, but it's refraction that makes holograms, not reflection. If you change the direction and color of the light with refraction, you can make a hologram.

Hmmm... I Hope That Konami IS Going To Release The Duel Terminal Out In America So That YGO Fans Can Get Their Hands On The Terminal, And Study Them.
And Make A Proto Type Duel Disk...
I Mean... Like How Are We Going To Make The Duel Disk Read The Cards? By Using The Same But Smaller Version Of The Terminal... Right :]?

Jevan R. H. Divinitive Pent and Ten nope, even if they did both to put that thing on a disk, it's still just on the computer it's more like the duelist kingdom kinda thing And what stops anyone from putting the needed hardware and software into a duel disk? I've spoken to someone about this before and how it is completely possible for someone to do this. As we have seen people have fiured it out as I predicted. It is completely possible for all of the technology they were using to by put into a duel disk (a revised duel disk anyway) and work over a wireless connection. It would of course be easier to make a mat system with a screen but if the research and testing is done we could see next years champions duelling with duel disks, with the duel displayed for all on a large screen. Anyone who doesn't believe this technology can be minimised doesn't own any portable gaming consoles. I agree with u it is possible to put it on a duel disk, but the question is this will they?
