Mindy had Joel on the brain on the drive all the way to her home. She wasn't sure if she should give Joel some time to settle back in for a while or if she should just show up. She decided to just pop in anyways. She drove over to Joel's and parked in the drive way. She knocked on the door, pulling her bag up on her shoulder.

Joel heard the knock on the door and raced downstairs and opened the door. "Hey!" he said, acting like he hadn't just run to catch the door.

Mindy smiled at Joel when he opened the door. "Hey, you said to stop by?" She giggled quietly, looking up at Joel.

"Yeah," he smiled, "I did," he stepped aside, letting her in.

Mindy smiled, wrapping Joel in another hug after he shut the door behind her. "I told you where I've been, but what've you been up to!?" She picked up the conversation where they ahd left off at the day care center.

"I've been in the music business," he replied, smiling.  

[MandieRae]

[[Sorry, I've got to go. I have to work tommorow but I'll be on in the morning.]]

"Music, really!? What do you do? I've never heard you sing before." Mindy's smile was beaming. She really never had heard Joel, she listened to music her and there but not often.

He laughed a bit, "Wow, I'm pretty big, actually! I'll play you something thought."  

[MandieRae]

"Well music really never has been big on my agenda." She laughed quietly. "Yay!" She acted like a little kid when he said he'd play her something.

He smiled, taking her hand and leading her upstairs.

Mindy smiled when he took her hand, her stomach kind of jumped a bit but she really didn't know why. She followed him as he led her up the stairs.

He sat down on the bed, pulling out the guitar. "Seriously, you've never heard me play?" he asked, a bit surprised.

Mindy shook her head. "Not really, no. I don't listen to music often, most of the time I'm at the daycare." She blushed slightly, surprised she had never heard him before.

"Darn," he smiled, "And I thought I was famous," he adjusted, quickly tuning the guitar.

"You might be, as I've said music isn't often on my agenda." She blushed still as she said this. She did spend most of her time at the daycare and when they were there it was mostly children's music.
