They both have good and bad points, though overall I prefer Maplestory. ZOMG reminds me a lot of the closed beta for maple, there are a lot of bugs and there isn't much to do after you hit a certain level.
However, ZOMG does have recepeis which are really cool (if only the stuff you made had any effect in-game). While you can forge some items in Maple, the forging system in ZOMG is more widely used and accessible.

ms way better!!! zomg uses stupid rings and the monsters r stupid animated crap. ms on the other hand uses real(ish) weapons, and the monsters could actually b monsters. ms rules!!!!

Another MS vote here.

I played zOMG! Then you geniuses made crap soulbound. The game had been slightly fun when I could make gold off of it. When you took that away I no longer had fun and stopped playing. It was like Towns and I hate going into towns. Just with more lag because of the monsters or whatever they were called.

MapleStory is just less of a hassle (doesn't mind grinding in MS because of the good item drops that can be found and SOLD) and way more fun.

lol, firstly I'd like to say that Maple completely and utterly pwns the crap outta zOMG! It's just the plain and simple fact. Maple feature WAY more things to do and it's more user friendly. zOMG! is only when...well...I can't think of anything right now, but the point is. I have been on Maple Story for a VERY long time and placing it next to zOMG! right now isn't really a fair comparison.
