I actually want people to label me, then I'll know they'll be more likely to remember me. wink

That's a good point. Labels are used, whether we want them to be or not, and it all depends on how we use them. I friend saying "that shirt is so punk" can be a compliment, but "what, you're dressing like a goth now?" definetly doesn't sound as friendly.

The way I've seen it for myself, and will probably always see it, I would much rather label myself than have someone else do it for me. That way I will always be in control and happy with what I'm being called.
