She puffed her cheeks out, "Of course you're wrong! Cards and love have nothing to do with each other!"

Aiden laughed, "I'm sure..." He smiled at her, "So if you're saying that they're two different things then it just means you have no love life."

"It does not! It just means that I haven't gotten around to it," she replied, dealing another hand.

Aiden smiled at her, wondering if this would effect her game. "So you're saying that you're going to find a guy and have dates. Dates where you have to dress nice. I don't believe it."

"I will!" she replied, "I'll have him take me places I don't have to dress nice," she added.

Aiden laughed as he looked at his hand, a royal flush. He betted a little more as he spoke, using his ability to get her mad to his advantage, "I'm not sure Avery. I mean I seen you with more grease on your jeans than most of the guys, if not all of them."

"My brother's car is a piece of s**t," she muttered, "I have to work on it a lot..." she eyed her hand, then his bet and his face. She returned to her poker face, taking everything into very careful consideration.

Aiden laughed, "I bet you would spend more time on your bro's car then you would with a guy."

She frowned, "Fold, and so?" she looked at her friend, "Family before boys right?"

He placed his hand down, "Okay, maybe I was taking that a little far, but seriously I don't see why you making such a big deal out of this. I was only teasing you. It wouldn't have bugged you unless I was right."

"You aren't," she replied, "So, how's YOUR love life?"

"I don't want a lovelife." He sighed, "You know how is it at our school, like every single girl except for a few have boyfriends. The ones that don't are complete airheads." He smiled softly, "Is that all?"

"You think I'm an airhead?" she gasped dramatically.

Aiden shook his head, "No! You have brains in your head than the whole school, but I wasn't counting you with what I was saying. Why?" His eyes and smiled widen, "Why was that? Is it became you want me?"

"No, you can't even play cards," she replied, eying him, "But you really should count me in the survey of the female population of the school."
