One day, she got a letter in the mail from John Lennon. She thought it was a fake because it had a stamp that looked like a child's sketch. So, she threw it away.

Hmm. Ringo, a jerk? But I thought he was the nice one.

Oh well.

I guess I'll just have to hunt him down someday and dictate my letters in person so he can't "toss them." Whahaha.

he was the nicer one. Well from watching the Help! movie when John and Paul keep on suggesting that they cut his finger off. I don't know xD.
But he must just be tired of all of the fame. And it might of been from all of the crap mail that he got from non-fans. Or his liverpool 8 song. It was a great song, I loved it. But other Beatles fan shunned the video. Theirs like 10 pages of crap comments on the video.

Ah, oh well.

From everything I've read that the other Beatles said, Ringo was the nicest guy anyone could ever meet.

I'm sure he still is a very nice person. I personally wouldn't want to deal with everything he has to deal with, since it's been going on basically his whole life and he certainly deserves a break.

Somewhat related, but somewhat not, one of my teachers went to a Beatles concert when she was 10. She said it was really, really loud and she could barely see, and she went with her 13-year-old cousins who was one of those girls practically having hysterics and crying and all that.
