Invictus_88 Mr. Bono Vox Invictus_88 Erix Griffon Invi - South Wales girls? Really? I'm studying (hah!) in South Wales at the moment... to be fair to them, there's a fair bit of variation. Some of them have quite soft accents, but I've met at least two girls here, talking with whom was the aural equivalent of shoving an ice-pick down your ear. Ah, this lot were specific to Swansea and Bridgend. Soft accents, and sortof songful. Very endearing.
The think the males of their number suspected something and gave me an instant ribbing when they heard me say the word 'croquet'. It is, apparently, deeply amusing to the Welsh ear.any word spoken in an Ulster accent is deeply amusing to the English ear apparently... as i learned on my Geography feild trip... There were a few Ulstermen at the last army course I was on, seemed a fairly good accent really. why thank you invictus. smile
