Yeah I saw that one as well as one for breast augmentation. I guess as long as the sponsors will pay, gaia will put up the ads.

So far I have not seen any of those ads (thankfully), but I do agree that those ads should not be displayed here on Gaia. Gaia is supposed to be a PG 13 site and then they have those ads??? They are contridicting their own rules.

I bet it is spywere. with the interweb as vast and spamy as it is, we are getting spy were up the butt!! Myspace is one of the worst out there next to Porn sites its self.
O_o SCIENCE CONTENT! every one uses spy were. Even lovely Gaia. They have to have a good way topay for the bandwith. But, get a good Anti Spy were. Like I use Ad-awere, ran it once a week, and your good to go. the best part? Free! YAY! www.download.com END SCIENCE
That's just s Techs thought tho

It's good I don't pay attention to them, then again I donate so don't usually deal with them on this account... my mules are another story. I hate when I go to click one of the Gaia links and wind up with another window for something else.
Unfortunately, my guess is a repeat of what's already been said, random ads pop up which Gaia has no control over.

I personally find it highly inappropriate! Of course, I also find I hate seeing advertisements for douches, vag creams and all other stuff personal related. Mind you I am not a prude, but that stuff grosses me out!

Like Nightowl said, Gaia does not actually place the ad on this site. Gaia just has a link to the main ad site and that all. Also somebody said in the Q&A forums stated the ads are partly of your browsing style.
I get anime ads for the most part, so I'm really not paying too much attention to the them. However users may get those inappropriate ads by visiting the site, mistakingly click on some thing, or even visiting a site that doesn't care about the ads.
You may not clicked or visit them yourself, but when surfing you may have picked up a bad cookie.

Takarada Kaoru I keep seeing ads for "male enhancement" here on Gaia... am I the only person who'd rather see ads for Robotech, DBZ, or Naruto than "male enhancement"? Some of them are very "informative" even without the visual. That doesn't surprise me really. Gaia sucks as of late. After seeing that Hulk/Snoop Dog crap, I've just lost all interest in this site. So, yeah. Dunno if I'm coming back on here anymore, it's just full of too much BS. It's not Gaia anymore.

RoleOfAQS After seeing that Hulk/Snoop Dog crap, That came out the blue. Gaia was anime based and that is not even close to anime. The Hulk is stretching it bit, seeing how he was a comic, but Snoop?! I bet he paid A LOT of money to get placed on Gaia. I think Gaia needs to stop and reevaluate these snares. What's next, political snares?

wittyfantom12 I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that next. I mean who WOULDN'T want a Sarah Palin wig or an Obama mask? If they pay good money to Gaia, those items would on the next update However with Gaia being advertise as the teen site, most users are not old enough to vote.

I'd pay a fee to have an ad free gaia page, make it an option for those willing, kinda like pogo. Even give the paying people some sort of extras for their money.

Wendy Essex I'd pay a fee to have an ad free gaia page, make it an option for those willing, kinda like pogo. Even give the paying people some sort of extras for their money. That's what the MC's are for. You buy one (not though Gaia Cash) and you are ad-free for about a month. I'm relaying the information from days spent in the Q&A.
