old as you feel.
I am an old soul and I feel it sometimes weighing down on my shoulders. Old emotionally? Figuratively? Actually? At 24 I feel 45, but there are times when I feel 24. I like both sometimes.

I think with age, you also change your perspective of 'old'. Sometimes things that happen in our life makes us change perspective. When I was 15 my sister died aged 32 and in my eyes after that happened, 32 was really young, because I really didn't plan on popping my clocks that early. When I was 20, my dad died aged 59 and 59 at the time sounded old to me, but he died and suddenly 59 was no age to die, it was wrong and ever since then, when I hear the word old, I think of those who can't look after themselves any more and need care. Which could be at any age. My neighbour is 84 years old and she still works at the local charity shop, yet I have known people in their 60's which had already give up on live. OLD depends on the individual and on each persons personal thinking. I don't think OLD can really be defined, because it's like beauty, in the eyes of the beholder.
...rant end *get's of soap box*

I remember my grandmother (in her 70's at the time) telling me that in her head she felt 17 most of her life, but usually her body reminded her she wasn't 17 anymore. The older I get, the more I feel the same way.
I do know one thing for sure. You are OLD when you look in the mirror and see your mother looking back at you. hehe.

I don’t know it depends how sharp and active your mind is right? I like all those that say your as old as you feel and your right my mum she’s 60 and doesn’t look like she for one and could give some young people around the place a run for there money if it came to anything.
Anyway you cna always act your shoe size right?

I know a lady who is 86, and she looks and acts like a gal in her early 60's. I know another lady in her early 40's who looks and acts like a gal in her early 60's.
As so many have said before me, old is a state of mind, and you're as old or as young as you feel.
As for myself, somedays I feel like 37 (my age), somedays I feel 85 and somedays I feel 20. It depends on the day, the people I talk to, the amount of stress I'm feeling and so many other things!
