well i can play a lot of songs. but the other day i was listing the songs i can play and sing. i might know more but this are the ones i remember:

about the instruments i play and for how long... hmm

i am 29 and i started having music lessons at 7 with xilophone, flute and percussion. some piano. then latter i started being a rocker and i started playing the guitar(electric and acoustic), bass and drums. then even latter i started getting into electronic and started using rebirth, fruity loops, reason, nuendo, cool edit and sound forge

I can play more than 40 "songs" but as a classical muscian i would better call it pieces. rolleyes I play the oboe round 12 years now. I also play the piano and the recorder and several other instruments...

Well I have been playing guitar for about two years now. I know probably almost 100 or maybe over 100 songs already. I just have trouble with solo's because my guitar isnt all that great to solo on.

Wow, I guess most of us can play 40+ songs domokun

Piano - 18 years,
Flute - 2 years,

and other instruments... for roughly 1 year each. I switch every now and then. I play the piano for church almost every week. The only other instrument I still play often occasionally are drums. They're fun =D I mainly use a synthesizer so I didn't really learn how to play other instruments. ^^;;

Though I have been playing instruments since I was a small child I didn't become serious until approximately grade 8 when I began teaching myself, for the most part. I only know how to play a few songs that were written by others but I have a multitude of songs I have composed and play; it was my desire not to be affected by the playing styles of others in a "muscle-memory' kind of way.

I've spent many years just working on orchestral excerpts and solos, of which, I can play about.....at least 80 I think
