fanboy360 undacuva_druid I live in Western Australia, our music scene used to be terribly quiet!!! But I'm so lucky that within the last few years it has taken off. We get some pretty big acts down here these days and I make sure I can see them or I regret it pretty bad. I regret Snow Patrol and Fall Out Boy last year crying We also have a few festivals every year which manage to pull a fair few big bands eg Big Day Out (Probably the biggest every year), RockIt, Rollercoaster, West Coast Blues And Roots Festival and Southbound. So! I saw Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., and Panic! At The Disco a few nights ago. The Cobra set was WAY too short but Gabe Saporta puts on a great show. The Academy Is... was pretty good, I liked their music and shall go looking for it! Panic! was awesome!!! They started with We're So Starving and continued into 9 In The Afternoon. They did all of the favourites and they did There's A Good Reason... which I was really happy about because I won a competition with a dance to that song a year ago ^-^ During Behind The Sea they had bubble machines spraying millions of bubbles everywhere!!! biggrin Oh and the set was decorated with flowers everywhere. Very pretty! mrgreen so ur an aussie..thats awesome.. and grae..we live in the same city u geek?!!!!!!!!!! noway ur kidding eek OMG we could lik hang out and stufff eek surprised rolleyes

lips like stereo I've seen a lot of bands live, but mostly local bands that my friends are in. But the more notable people I've met would be: -Tre Cool from Green Day ---His voice sounds like Bart Simpson. It's pretty great. biggrin -Gabe and Vicky T from Cobra Satrship --a little bit before they got famous, even though most of the audience weren't into it, they put on a great show. And Gabe is supertall. I'm six feet, and he towers over me. -Pete from Fall Out Boy ---I was waaay more excited about meeting Dirty, to be honest -Dan from Reel Big Fish ---They played a supertiny show a few years back in my hometown and the whole crowd was dicks and I got the s**t beat out of me. But the band was amazing. Afterwards, I just walked past the security gaurd like I knew what I was doing, and talked to the band for a while. It was pretty great. ^__^ Fall Out Boys AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Cobra are pretty amusing on stage even if the vocals were less good than in the studio. But that's to be expected most of the time.
