New Trailer was good. Makes me want the game even more now. Only thing I don't like in the game is the fact Eggman caught Sonic. It doesn't make any sense to me. It probably because I'm used to Sonic always defeating Eggman. Okay Adventure 2 Sonic DID get caught, BUT he managed to escape and defeat Eggman. But yeah, if that's the only thing that I'm gonna complain about, then it should be a good game.

The trailer was nice and all, but the Werehog still bothers me.

It's still a game I would like to play though.
I'm not going to let that bother me.

actually this game takes place at the end of an unknown story, so where you see Eggman catching Sonic is part of the end of that story, which is the the beginning of Unleashed (sounds like a time paradox description for it), and while I'm not sure how, that whole battle leads up to Sonic becoming the Werehog so I think Sega might have something here.

I've also seen a hands on demo of this game, and contrary to popular opinon, this isn't a rail game, Sonic is free to move forward backwards and side to side during the rear view portions, just like Adventure. Plus Sonic will be able to reach at minimum a max speed of 300 mph. Now you problly say well thats gonna make the levels short as hell.....WRONG MY FRIENDS. In reality these levels will be huge. The Greece level (which is the first) actually is 6 miles long, with others going above 10 miles. Plus each level has a nightime option where if you wait you can play the level as the Werehog instead of Sonic, and its completely optional (give or take a few levels). The Werehog game play seems have a pretty good combat system, with plenty of combos and ways to lay a blue beat down on foes. It also focuses more on platforming then speed, and has a very Prince of Persia look to it (since he swings climbs and walks on narrow planks). Honestly I think Sega might have finally woken up with what they were doing, plus it probbly helps that a new younger Sonic Team is making this game. 3nodding

I mean, wtf.
If he was a werehog, you'd think he'd be a werehog from the beginning.

I will admit that at first I though "ew" at the whole werehog idea. But having seen the gameplay demos, I think it will be a great game. I'm glad they're getting back to the speed-based roots. Even if the werehog part is still "ew," I think the rest should make up for it. They aren't rushing this game as much as they did the other console games.

Yeah. Sonic is now a Werehog thanks to Eggman. The Werehog's fighting style is like Chaos in Adventure 2: Battle when Chaos is punching and breaking things.

Same here. I sit here and watch the trailer and keep asking my mom to get it for me for Christmas and she says we'll see.
