While the character makers are okay for boredom, I personally think they are very restrictive on ideas. For example, there are very few species, you can only have certain styles e.t.c. Of course, I do have a large imagination, so this may be more a tool for those who struggle to realise their own concepts.

None the less, it's still quite an impressive feat, for programming and what-not.

abilities: can run as fast as sonic, has the ability to induce chaos control, his cape has a camoflauge effect allowing him to blend in with almost every area

super form: turns completely black and uses beams of intense black light to blast enemies

personality: laid-back for the most part, but very aggressive when his friends are involved in something dangerous

likes: colors red and black, hanging out with his friends

I agree that the maker dosnt hav very much to choose from. but that means if you chosen a combination nobody has picked, then that means its either sucky or really good.

Its good, but it doesn't help if your character has more than one of the available body parts. The "Sonic Character Designer" on Newgrounds.com doesn't do clothing, but it does skin designs and stuff. Here's my avatar made with it.
