To Answer The Pichu Question. No, The anime Was Made Before The Johto Regin Was Used.

But Pichus always existed, they just were never discovered until the Johto region

lol and pikachu, next to mario, is nintendo's mascot and the anime would suck if pikachu couldnt fit into an air-vent X3

I think, there should be a final movie, and it should show Ash as an adult, and Pikachu as a Raichu
