I totally agree, poor Jon. Like the song Debbie by Mary Magdalan, when shes like crying and telling her mom to come home and about their horrible past, i cried on that song too.

Doesn't anyone know the story behind Pretty? That's one of the saddest, and most gruesome songs Jon's written. Of course there's Daddy, Justin, Falling Away From Me and Alone I break are sad, but everyone knows that...

The story behind Pretty? From what I recall reading, it was about something JD saw during his time as a coroner - a mutilated child. it was one of the most gruesome things he had ever seen, and contributed to his trauma and the need for a change in career.

The first time I heard "Daddy" all the way through I cried. I'm used to it now but it's still the saddest song. "Pretty" is also a really sad song and can be hard to listen to.
