Sitting down with Book Characters

I have read so many books and I hate choosing just five but here are my top five:
1.Oromis from Christopher Paolini's Eldest
2.Alice Cullen from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series
3.Hatter Madigan from Frank Bedor's The Looking Glass Wars series
4.The four mages Sandry, Tris, Briar, and Daja from Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic and The Circle Opens series
5.Maximum Ride from James Patterson's Maximum Ride series
I know that technically that is more than five, nine to be exact, but I really wanted to put way more down so I'll list the ones that didn't make it to my top five: Percy Jackson, Eragon, Artemis Fowl, Bella Swan, Holly Short, Foaly, Aro, Marcus, Caius, Arya, Annabeth, Septimus Heap, Lark, Rosethorn, Niko Goldeye, Frostpine, Alyss Heart, Orik, Saphira, and the Scourge.

this is very hard since i like almost every single character but maybe i can have a top 5. let's see:

-Temeraire from His majesty's Dragon
-Eragon from Eragon

if i can have more those will be Lyra,Arya,Meryl,Addie,Rhys,The Pevensie Children and other more people that i forgot.
