I agree. But the thing i love is that when i went to a concert of theirs in Brisbane (Australia) i was in the mosh pit and i met so many people in there. We were all waiting for mcr to come out after the support band and we just all started talking. It was great!
I made so many friends from that one concert all because of our love for the band.
Thats how it should be. Always.

I hate some newer fans, to be quite Frank, pun intended.
I've been a fan since the release of Helena. Technically, that would make me anything between older fan and newer fan, but I don't rank with the teenies.
Instead of ONLY listening to Three Cheers, I went out and learned the band back-to-front. I learned everything I could, everything I could get my hands on and my mind around, I know it. Everything. It's actually BAD.
I also run a fansite on MySpace called The Black Parade Around The World. that is me and another fan:]
but some of the new fans act all high and mighty and TEST older fans, such as myself. I consider myself an older fan, just because they've progressed GREATLY since I learned about them.
I'm not a fan of TBP. I actually despise it. and the newer songs as well, the ones that are un-named and that song Stay isn't great, either. I don't like the direction the band has taken, but I am a fan...of the OLD MCR.
New MCR just doesn't strike any heart strings like the old stuff does. And that disappoints me, because I have ad a long love for them:[
_Ghostette_
I am bitter with all the new material and the change in the members and whatnot.
MCR will always be five beautiful boys from Jersey and one from Chi-town who were a little f**ked up. I liked them better when they were f**ked up, they seemed more real to me. Not anymore:[
I AM BITTER.

I saw them at big day out 07, my third MCR experience, I waited for hours to hear Gerard scream our lady of sorrows to me And I got the Black Parade and every single person singing along to it. I was a bit let down.
I'm happy for the boys being married. I'm more jealous of the girls getting to be in such close contact to such amazing people day in day out. woweeee.

Hm..How to do this w/o flaming? lol
Okay, just to say something, I agree with a lot of you. There are many jerks...and teenies that shouldn't be saying certain stuff...But just because you've run into a couple of idiots, that doesn't mean there aren't thousands of hardcore fans who are super nice people, (like a lot of people in this guild, which is why I joined it.) that are out there listening to 'Bullets' or any other MCR song for that matter.
Also, I'm not saying you're bad people. I'm just a little disappointed. I think a lot of people have lost touch with MCR's meaning. Yes, The Black Parade was a little eccentric. But who EVER said that Gee, or the rest of the band for that matter, wasnt'?!
I think it's a beautiful CD, you have the right to your opinion, but I think real fans love whatever they do, even if it's polka...or...*shudders* country. Yes, they'd never do it, but what I'm trying to say is love them for what they are.
I am extremely disappointed by the fan base decrease just because they ventured out of their little bubble of punk rock or whatever you wish to call the 'Revenge' era. If it wasn't for TBP, I don't even know who I'd be. MCR truely DID save my life, in more ways than one. I'm sorry, but I have a serious problem with people who go around calling MCR "gay" or "emo" because of a little costume change.
Listen to the lyrics. The messages are the same....Like in LOTMS, Gerard says something to the effect of "Don't be afraid of being messed up, because there's 5 guys just as messed up as you" *note, I'm sure these aren't the exact words he said, but close to it at least.*
Get over it, They're not going to marry you either. If you can get a message out of their songs, more power to ya.
They're maturing guys....If you don't like their music, don't listen to it, and stop whining about how crappy it is to you.
That is all wink

All I know is that I stopped posting in this guild regularly after the Black Parade. I think it attracted a whole new group of fans.

Dude! If I were as famous as Gerard (which I most likely will not be), I would HATE it if people didn't appreciate me being married! It's his desire to have a spouse! I don't care if they're married! I just care about them playing their beautiful music and their inspirations to teens that black is the best color in the world. 'Till death do they part!!

Zomg Lol Wtf Pwnt I haven't even been a fan for that long. I just started listening to them like.. this past month. Call me a newbie if you want. x3 And yes, I think Gerard.. and Frankie are kinda cute, but I'm not going to go all depressed and "heart-broken" because they're married. I'm only thirteen. I have NO chance with them. xD But I do love talking to other MCR fans to learn more about them, but I hate it when they argue about who is more of a fan. =/ Welcome to the clan! I've only been listening to mcr for about a year and I'm still learning some of the lyrics to some of their songs. Frank is my favorite member of the band and so I'm trying to memorize where all of his tattoos are and what they are. He has like 40!

I'm torn about MCRmy unity.
On the one hand it's like, yeah we should all stick together.
On the other hand. There are fans that give us a bad name; aka liking Teenagers and calling themselves hardcore fans. And this is just me but it aggrivates me when someone like Fallout Boy and MCR. Like no offense, sorry if you do, but to me it's like that spells bandwagon or teenybop poprocker fan to me.
Call me elitist but I'm a fan of all their stuff and uniquely their stuff.

I don't think you should stop going to this guild just because of some bandwagon teenies. Maybe now since the whole Black Parade rage is dying down, the real fans will venture back...
And I don't think the MCRmy is being ununited...
I love being a part of it, and the people who win have serious hearts and a passionate love for the band.
Keep faith! xD

I will admit that I got into them b.c. I got into the Black Parade cd[I think I vagly listened to the Three Cheers Album before that], from there I found the rest of the cd and learned to truley love and respect the band for much more than their looks. I love the music, I love the concept, I love the lyrics, and so much more. I think that just because someone started to apreate the band after the Black Parade doesnt make them a bad fan, but I do hate those people who only know some song's from MCR and call themselves a true fan. I have liked MCR since the Black Parade came out, but I have gone, found their older cd's listened to them over and over and over [ect.] and found a new love with them. I dont go around going "omg Gerard is soooo hawt" I think thats pretty pathetic...I mean Gerard is married and much older...but anyways..I guess thats just my opinion

But I have listened to all of MCR'S stuff, I havent just heard the Black Parade album, I have actually gone and looked for the bullets album as well and I do think that some of the best lyrics are written on the album
