Something else that came up is the concept of a "stipulative" definition. As misuse of a word becomes common, the language does evolve- however, when context does not provide the correct definition, an agreement or framework can provide a stipulative definition.

While it may not be the classical application of a word, it provides an idea, often linking threads through how it historically was used, and the key identifying features that present within the framework.

How much of this is cultural appropriation? All of it. However- it provides us with a new tool- that could allow us to educate individuals- providing them with better resources to further discuss the subjects.
