I do! I do! I do remember the video. My mom hated it so I thought it was cool. I lived in small, rural hamlet in North Louisiana. And our cable company had MTV when it started for about the first 4 months it was on or so, but then they pulled it from the line up because they had complaints that it was anti-christian. rolleyes but we got it back after about 6 months. But in the interim, late at night when one of the channels would go off the air (you remember, back in the days before 24/7 programming razz ) that channel would start running back to back videos - with no commericals or anything. I don't know how they tapped into the feed, but they did. Anywho, They'd play Planet P alot, and Berlin, the Cure, The Smiths, U2.... actually, they played what was at the time "college alternative". It was awesome.

Yeah - I think all my favourites have already been mentioned here... Adam and the Ants - Prince Charming - who hasn't done that dance after a bevy or two? (Oh, just me then!) I also liked Stand and Deliver. Robert Palmer - Addicted to Love Michael Jackson - Thriller
All brilliant!

arrow Land of Confusion by Genesis
I was gonna describe this one because I couldn't remember the title but you got it for me first! I love this one, the puppets are amazing and the song is haunting!
I'm not much of an actual MTV gen. I never had cable till college and by then MTV was mostly crap and no music videos.

Anyone remember a song called, "Love's Got Lucky" or something like that? I do not remember who sang that, but it sticks in my head cause there was a girl at HS who's nickname was Lucky. We gave her a lot of hell over that one.

No, but that's a good one. I did a lyric search, but some of these one song bands from the old days aren't in there.
One of the chorus pieces was: "Cause I never felt this way before, Like a dog always begging for more." I think that was part of that song, but my memory is slipping in my old age, and that could be from another song. It's funny how they sometimes run together in the back of my head.
