Michigan is completely surrounded by coasts of five different lakes. And trust me, if it's not the same as the ocean, then it's only better than the ocean because it's fresh water. I don't think people realize how big the Great Lakes are.

I've only ever been to one lake before... and it was a crappy lake. I grew up on the East Coast, so it was the Atlantic or nothing for me. And here in Europe I'm on the West coast.. but it's still the same Atlantic.
