Less than 2000 people to go now.
And the numbers usually go up after wednesdays night's show (which is on at 9pm BBC2, then followed by citizen TV on digital if anybody wanted to know.)

I'm sorry if this is too far off topic, but why is there numbers with BBC? I've seen a 3 and a 2 written in this guild. I've heard of BBC. It's a television channel I believe, and/or a radio station. I've only heard of it because of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy book, radio, and tv series.

Because the BBC executives are too lazy to think of something interesting to call their pointless fringe channels...And it is a little too off topic. I believe last time we brought the guild to anarchy with corpse and spaghetti related spam.

Sorry Owen and sorry to everyone about being off topic.
But I think, if someone is in a British guild they need to know. It is a television channel (definately 3) and some radio stations. (Don't ask me how many, but there is a lot) There aren't any adverts on bbc TV. For further information their website is here.

Being more on topic I signed up. Well I more finished signing up because I half signed up a while ago but the signing up went down while I was halfway through. I think I'm just going to be a number though, since I don't have much time now I'm back at school. XP

Actually, it's on at 10pm not 9.

The BBC has a variety of different channels.
TV:
BBC 1 - Mainstream stuff. (terrestrial)
BBC 2 - Slightly less mainstream stuff (terrestrial)
BBC 3 - Mainly comedy and drams (digital)
BBC 4 - Arts and documentaries and stuff (digital)
BBC News 24 - News, surprisingly (digital)
CBBC - Childrens TV (digital)
Cbeebies - Little childrens TV (digital)
BBC parliament - coverage of parliament (digital)

Radio:
BBC 1 - New music
BBC 2 - Music and entertainment
BBC 3 - Classical, jazz, world music and drama
BBC 4 - Comedy, drama, general nice intelligent chit chat
BBC fivelive - live news and sport
BBC world service - news in 43 languages
BBC 1extra - new black music
BBC6 - music (not sure what sort)
BBC 7 - all the best bits of BBC 4 - comedy, drama etc.
BBC asian network - asian music and issues
BBC fivelive sports extra - surely nobody wants to hear that? a whold station devoted to sport? Egch.

So yeah, that's all of them, appart from the various regional and local statins. but i wont list them. There's too many.

It was all off the website.
But I knew most of the TV bit.
I don't suppose that's something to be proud of.

Personally, I can think of nothing more ghastly than if BBC2 became "TV plus", BBC1 became "TV plus gold", BBC3 became "comedy plus", CBBC became "kid's plus", etcetera.

I say, if they do that, is anyone up for the formal acknowledgment of a British subdivision?

County, principality, province or colony?

Any suggestions?
