Seriously. I don't get how it's even possible.. but the other day, we were watching TV, and she was channel surfing... and she passed TMF and it was a live performance by Fall Out Boy. So I of course was like "stop, go back!" and then after a few seconds she's like "who's that fat guy?" and I was like "MOM SERIOUSLY. Patrick's not fat! surprised " and then she was like "who's Patrick?" and I say "the singer." and she says "yeah, but what band?"

I was like eek gonk
I have a huge FOB poster in my room, my mom was at Decaydance Fest with me, and every time Thnks Fr The Mmrs was on the radio or TV I would turn it up and listen/watch and every time I'd tell her it was Fall Out Boy. So you think by now she'd recognize at least the music, if not them. But nooo.

Haha. xD My mom usually recognizes Fall Out Boy's songs and Panic!'s, and sometimes even Paramore. Other than that, she doesn't recognize any other music of mine. Besides something like "Delilah" which is just overplayed and anyone can recognize that.

Oh yeah, everyone in my family recognizes Hey There Delilah. I learned to play it on guitar last spring, so it's all they ever heard coming from my room. And for the past few months it's been on the radio and stuff a ton, so everyone knows it. It's kind of cool, all my friends know who the Plain White T's are now and they didn't before. I have a poster of them, and so now my friends are like "ohh THAT'S who those guys are!" xp

I tried learning "Delilah" on my guitar, but it didn't work out. sad My fingers arent big enough to get the different chords.

Yeah I know! That's actually really true, one friend was like "but isn't it just one guy singing and playing guitar? What do the rest of them do?" xp I was like well you have to listen to their other songs xp

Aww. I learned all of it except I think the bridge.. 'cause then I had exams and then it was vacation and I got busy and I haven't played guitar since surprised gonk

and rocking too hard is not against the law unless u got 16 stereos on full blast and a really bad singer

My guitar strings are broken right now, and I don't know how to change them. xD So I've been waiting for one of my guy friends to come change them for me. They always come here, but we always forget to change them. whee xd I have't played guitar since like...summer.

The worst thing my mom ever did was confuse Spencer and Brendon.

And she's heard about 5 FOB songs.

But once she called me and was like "OMG! Turn on the radio now!!!"
I said "Okay mom, why?"
"Panic! At The Disco is on," my mom said.
I started screaming and turned it on and... it was "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs".
"That's Fall Out Boy mom..." I said.
"Oh," my mom replies and hangs up her cell phone.
