I think the actor for L is great!!
I watched The Last Name today, it was so sad when he died. It made me cry. But at least he pwned Light! And Sochiro didn't have to die, or Matt!

And the trailer has been around for ages and the movie isn't coming out soon.
The release is scheduled for early 2008 in Japan.

That's sooner than I thought!

It'll be translated mid-2008 MAYBE, and that'll be good enough for me!

Well, the Subbed versions are better. The voices tend to be better in Japanese (There's at least ONE exception)...

Wow, that looks...amazing. It's too bad that I can't understand any Japanese, though, I just had to resign myself to not understanding a word of the trailer. L looks so hot in it....I just may watch it. (For some reason, I didn't really like the Death Note movies that much, probably just because I'm so obsessed with the manga. The nice thing about the L movie is that the storyline is something that was never really covered in the manga....)
