33. most memorable moment?
-Ohh... well it's not good, but I remember it. (Kinda long...) Last year, when the Drumline (that's me) was taking a break, watching other bands perform, we all sat in the back. My friend, Jarrod (had a crush on him for years) was in drumline too. In the back, he finally told me he loved me too. I was giddy with joy, and we had a great time the rest of the day. The next day, (I was absent. I was on my vaca in London) he apparently left for another school. I was crushed, and he was going to tell me, but I wasn't there. He was in the same county, but different school. Well just a couple weeks ago in Festival, all the percussion sections joined together, and I saw him again! We were both so happy to be reunited, and we were filling each other in on life since it's been a year since we've seen eachother. (He still had the same curly, ruffled blond hair, blue eyes, and a warm smile...) When it was time to perform, I watched his school perform, and I could see he was amazing, as usual. When it came to my school's turn, we were all nervous. We've just been given a piece we barely had time to practice. I'd say all in all we'd had about 2 rehearsals for our song... aaaand we messed up. It wasn't that bad, but we noted that people noticed. We finished the song all together, but we lost eachother in the third quarter. I messed it up in front of Jarrod... of course he didn't mind and he still gave me that smile I love, though. My band might have messed up the performance and cost us our placing, but we'll try again next year.
