It's probably a good thing I'm not a Gaia artist (or any sort of artist) because I'd just make a bunch of items that were any combination of torn, covered in blood or grime, and/or trashy club wear. I'd pretty much be the Ke$ha of Gaia.

The Gaia artists made alchemy, all of it. (They admitted it as well)

So I would think the Odds were decided by them as well.

Well, whenever people asked Pan or Narumi (devs) what the odds were, or why they were so low, they always directed us to the artists, and said it was their project.

And whenever there's a problem with alchemy, or there's a misunderstanding, the artists are the one to correct/answer it.

So yeah, the artists control the odds.
