Desmond somehow managed to keep a hold on the quaffle. He saw his teammate, for the first time, out the corner of his eye. She was a year above him, if he judged hee correctly. Let's just hope she's better at scoring then he is. Desmond thought to pass, but instead held strong. He was going to wait til the very last second, if at all, before passing.

Desmond literately let out a cry of shock as the shot was blocked. 'I should have passed... Bah... next time...' He thought to himself as he took a moment to regain his composure. He watched as Mackenzie tried to block the quaffle from Ester to no avail. "I'm coming!" he called as he raced up behind them and went for a steal.
