spaceAs the bludger slammed into him, he had to worry if Eve was actively letting the bludgers past her when they were aimed at him. Especially when she immediately knocked one straight at Desmond, no problem. But then again, she'd not been fighting against a more experience beater then, so maybe he was being unfair. Eve took Quidditch really seriously, thanks to Dom, so it wasn't like she was going to bugger up her own game out of some stupid petty dislike of him... right? Whatever. He took a second to try and determine how badly he'd been hit. The answer was, very badly. He had broken something, for sure. But, if Ada could keep playing after Dom had broken her hip, he could keep playing after Jasmine had broken a few ribs. Right? He shot off after Desmond, hoping to regain possession of the ball.

Desmond barely pulled the quaffle from Sebastian's grip. He even winced as he could see Sebastian in some pain from that hit he took earlier. However, there was no time for pleasantries, Desmond spun around, yet again, and took off towards the goal.

Mackenzie watched as Joel called Aleah over and blinked when the blonde yelled at him and hobbled away with her middle finger up in the air. Maybe at least Mackenzie could potentially be put at the reserve seeker instead this year, since the blonde girl got the spot last year. Unfortunately, when Joel called out the tryout teams, she was still put as the chaser. Then again, she put down that her first choice position was a chaser. Now, the brunette regretted it. She should've just stuck to her gut and put down seeker. Ugh. This bloody sucked. Of course, she did still feel bad for Aleah. After all, the older girl tried to push herself and prove to everyone that her disability didn't define her and that she could do anything she put her mind to and now, she wouldn't be allowed to play sports.

Mackenzie was one of the last to finish her laps, but she was only a second year! Joel was a fair captain, however, and waited for everyone to finish before starting the game. When it did start, Mackenzie shot up into the air, but after what felt like 0.5 seconds, she was already lost and behind. Sebastian tried scoring but Kim caught it and pass Desmond before Essie stole the quaffle. Luckily, he stole it back, for Mackenzie was being completely and utterly useless so far. After attempting to score on Kim, the quaffle seemed to switch back and fourth between Des and Bastian. While her teammate had possession of the ball, Mackenzie decided she'd stay near in case he needed her.
