__ J'gord halted his hammer when the bell rang again at the front of the workshop. He heard a woman's voice introduce herself, prospecting herself as a craftswoman in training. The smith looked over at Mirie who was still busying herself with tidying the less important parts of the workshop, "Looks like y've got yerself a peer, lassy." Mirie only just then pulled herself back to reality when she heard her nickname and turned to see Karleen. A glance to her teacher and double take back to the blue-haired woman preceded her official reaction, "Oh! Well isn't that just something neat!?" J'gord sighed and addressed Karleen. "If y'know how ta use the tools and such, and don't mind replacing whatever ya break, then yer welcome to anything that isn't beyond yer skill level. Just don't waste the supplies! Lassy, help Missy 'ere get situated. I got orders ta fill o'er here." J'gord adjusted his goggles then went right back to swinging his hammer to temper the hot steel laid out on the anvil in front of him. Mirie nodded affirmatively and approached Karleen, giving a little curtsy before taking care of the introductions, "So... the grump over there is J'gord, the owner of this workshop...""Harrumph!" J'gord grunted out of annoyance for how Mirie portrayed him but focused on his task instead of correcting or punishing her this time around. "And I'm Mirie, Mirie Zankotsu! Nice ta meet'cha Karleen!" She was quite contradictory in overall persona, although there were surely things they'd learn about each others as they worked alongside one another.

__ Sandayu certainly didn't have the whole context of whatever discussions were ongoing prior to their return. However, he had a general idea. Kagami didn't seem to trust the transformed man who was allegedly just looking for work. From the looks of it, he'd noticed that Sanda could tell he was in disguise but Sandayu honestly didn't care much about what happened with him. Any trouble that might be caused would simply be rectified with the punishment of those deserving and the revival or restoration of anyone who suffered harm. The Naraka Path alone could handle all of that and that was considered a very small fraction of his abilities despite how much he relied on it for some things. "Megumi" made a very haphazard attempt to leave the situation sooner than later instead of simply owning up to the misunderstanding and fixing the matter. So be it. He could keep an eye on that one pretty easily as long as they remained anywhere in Gimangakure.
His attention would then shift to the blond woman with an impressively strong accent. Although, it sounded vaguely familiar. 'Did Tengakure trade with people who spoke like that before while we were roaming around...?' Sandayu couldn't put his finger on it. "Yeah. Ikuyo, right? Where are you from? Your accent is familiar..." His voice trailed when his gaze moved to Obei who had come to stand down from her defensiveness toward him and his brother. The giant girl- woman, or whatever she was considered apologized with an equally strange dialect and offer to spar as a means to test her own and perhaps their strength. Sanda felt like choosing small simple words would be best for her sake, "That's fine with me, Obei." He could be mistaken, but he felt like Masato showed a similar interest in her. Perhaps that focus could be easily dismissed?

Masato would listen as the scott-celt like accented woman expressed...well...Masato still wasn't able to discern much from the thick accent so he wasn't sure what she was expressing. Although, his brother seemed to understand clearly. Typical of him really. At that moment, the woman disguised as a man would exit abruptly, spewing about poisoning the group and a salary. His eyes would then be pulled back tot he large woman who was giving off an unseen but very well understood aura. She was seeking strength. Validation of her own perhaps. Masato would nod, agknowleging both her request and her brother's acceptance. He grinned, happy to meet someone with a similar disposition to combat as him. " Obei, eh? Just name the time and place." He offered his confident and kind smile as he looked to Sandayu. " I'm more than happy to spar with the woman. Join if you'd like or observe. Up to you."

It would seem as if her challenge was met with enthusiasm. Both men appeared very eager to match against her in a (hopefully friendly) spar. The one known as Sandayu replied with a very concise, "That's fine with me, Obei." His brother would take a moment longer than him and reply with his own approval.
" Obei, eh? Just name the time and place. I'm more than happy to spar with the woman. Join if you'd like or observe. Up to you."
Although the excitement to fight was clear on her face there was still a bit of uncertainty in the air. The oni knew not of what either male could do or what they were capable of. It was always valuable to get first hand experience though. "Obei excite. Very excite." She looked over at Kagami for a moment and then stood up again, squatting so that all of her could fit in the room. Curse these small interiors. "Hope fight good. Obei not good yet. Want be better. Very better. Hope Mah-Sat-Toe and San-Day-You help." On that note, Obei led the way to the sparring area where they could let loose.

__It was a moment before Ikuyo responded. Partly because she was embarrassed about having been called out about her accent, which up until now she hadn't evdn noticed she had one. But also because of Sandayu's question. Flashbacks of her cruahing her village into the dirt floated through her mind. She was sure she should probably be feeling guilt or sadness at their broken faces but instead she felt nothing, nothing but the cold emotionless face that she would give to the same enemy of this tribe as well. "Oi wus born in de western forests. Me tribe frequently moved an' traded wi' others so 'tis possable if yer travelled dat you've met at laest wan av us before. Although I am naw longer from anywhere. Me tribe 'as been returned ter de earth an' oi renounced me 'um sum time ago." Pausing Ikuyo debated whether or not it would be appropriate to address the pair, or rather Kagami as Sandayu seemed to be planning a sparring match with the blue one. "Forgive me for speakin' oyt av place, but I am fully prepared for any trial given ter me ter join yisser cause. Mother Earth 'as sent me 'ere as 'er servant for things ter c**. Oi can fale 'er belief in yisser cause an' as 'er appointed waker, oi 'ill make it me duty ter return yisser foes ter de earth."

__ Pink tinted red eyes nearly rolled into the back of her head when she heard Megumi's excuse. She then watched her abruptly leave the room. She curled her finger at the door, summoning a guard. "Keep an eye on that "girl" while I decide what to do with them." The agent then bowed and alerted others to pay close attention to Megumi. Kagami played along in the weird interaction for as long as she could bear. She now elected to distract herself by watching the interaction between Obei and the brothers. A smirk crossed her lips in a flash before she returned to her frown and wrinkled lip. She tried to decipher the words in Ikuyo's thick accent. "I can't understand you. You talk like you have a mouthful of s**t." A flash of frustration burst out of her suddenly as she felt her implanted Sakkakugan strain her and give her a headache. After taking a breath she modified her statement to Ikuyo. "Do you hate the shinobi villages? Just say yes or no so we can move on." Her right index finger rubbed between her eyes to ease her headache. These eyes were growing more mentally straining by the day and it was driving her mad. "I'll probably have to get a speech therapist for the Institute at this rate." This thought was directed to Obei and Ikuyo. Kagami Hari was not a patient woman, she needed answers from people and fast. She rubbed her eyes before concentrating on Obei, Sandayu, and Masato. "Could you three take it to the arena? That's what it's there for." She made her suggestion in a more fair tone lest she risk disrespecting her husband. The true Kagami was still in that part of the Institute honing her illusion craft. Masato was certainly not known for fighting with restraint so that might prove troublesome.

__ Sanda remained mostly quiet after what he'd already said so far. From the sounds of it, Ikuyo also belonged to a nomadic society. Then she was probably right that their people had interacted while out and about in the world. Her claim to having been "returned to the earth" more or less stated that they were dead and gone. He was a little curious about her circumstances but wouldn't want anyone prying into his past either, so he asked no more on the matter. Obei very clearly wanted to have that spar sooner than later, and Masato was just as keen about the idea. After hearing everyone, including Kagami and her unusually abrasive outburst, say their peace Sandayu simply looked to his brother and nodded, "I'll catch up later. Don't break anything, or her, if you can help it. Just give what you get." It was more a request or a suggestion rather than an order or an obligation. In the end, it really didn't matter since anyone who was of value to Kogarashi that might die would be brought back to life with his powers, and anything that was damaged or broken could be replaced even more easily. Sandayu still needed to fill Kagami in on what had happened with Belamos and what was to be expected of Arashigakure in the near future. After that, he could mingle with the new recruits or whatever he felt like doing at the time.

As his brother bowed from the fun, he looked to Obei. She stated in plain enough words that she felt she she needed assistance in her training. Fighting would help her grow, clearly. Masato nodded to Sandayu. "See ya soon. I'll be sure to leave everything mostly intact." Crossing the room to where Obei had moved to as she awkwardly lead the way to the arena where they would spar. The two walked down a long corridor, leading outside. Masato looked upon the woman silently. He had to assume that someone with such a large build would specialize in physical attacks. Taijutsu most likely, and judging from the gauntlets on her hands, maybe some form of bukijutsu as well. It pleased him to know this woman might have some real strength to combat him with.
The two would move outside into the clearing that would allow them the space to fight. Masato would move a good fifteen feet from Obei in the center of the battle training arena. He pivoted to face her, gazing upon her form and able to properly size her up for combat. Her pale complexion and white hair painted a rather familiar air about her as he examined her crimson eyes. Given her size, she was still very much a woman, form fitting her height. Masato would spread his feet in a wide stance, feet pointed forward as his left hand extended outward and his right hand tucked closer to the body, both hands forming a flat palmed knife. " Miss Obei, show me what'cha got." He smiled with anticipation and excitement as he awaited her move.

Karleen bristled almost like a cat would when Mirie first talked, the woman was loud and extroverted and... it was like staring at a bright light. She stayed half on-edge in till the master smith of the place spoke, allowing her the freedom to do whatever she wished as long as she didn't ruin anything. She massively respected that decision, and she let out a soft sigh of relief. Her shoulders, which had previously tensed up, relaxed and her arms dropped to her side. Maybe she could fit in here after all. Mirie did the honors of introducing them both, and Karleen gave them a nod. "It's a pleasure to meet you, I hope I become a worthy addition to this workshop."
Karleen looked around the workshop, purple eyes excitedly looking over all it had to offer. "I think I'll get settled in and started, but I'll be sure to pop by you two if I get bored. I appreciate you allowing me to use this workshop... I lost mine." A slight frown worked on her face, then she shook her head lightly. She waved goodbye to Mirie and moved over to a corner of the room. She found a workbench to claim as her own, and started setting up.
She cleaned the grime off it, then started arranging the table itself how she'd like it. Certain tools went in to a certain area, and others went to another area. She remembered home, her workshop... She had it perfectly set up, she had spent so long in that place she could move around it with her eyes closed. Her heart ached with the thoughts of her old living quarters; the smell of oil and grime, an organized mess scattered about... A frown formed on her face, sadness in her eyes. These stupid ******** villages had taken everything from her-- she hoped they all burned to the ground. And she'd do anything to help Kagami succeed in doing so.
Karleen began to tidy up a bit more, dusting and sweeping, and generally making the area acceptable by her standards. She had to be comfortable to work after all. She dusted her hands off on her apron when she finished most of the work, and felt her heart soar at seeing the fabric dirty once more. When was the last time her hands had made anything? Tinkered? Created? She moved to go get the first few items she would start working on.
On her way over to grab her supplies, she noticed one of the other workers seeming flustered with the amount of work he was doing. After a few blinks from the purple-haired woman out of curiousty, she moved over to the man and handed him the next tool he would need to continue his work. He seemed confused for a moment, as if she handed him the wrong tool, only to realize this was the once he actually needed. With a polite and quiet grumble of a thank you, he continued with his work.
Karleen didn't move however, as he finished with one task, she would hand him a tool or a piece of material. She watched as slowly the stress disappeared from him, and she watched with a soft smile as he worked. She remembered when she was first beginning to craft on her own, how nervous and overrun she had been. The shinobi had wanted and needed so much-- kunai, senbon, armor, anything and everything. A bit of her enjoyed being able to give this man the helping hand she never got, if only someone had been there for her like this as she sweat for fifteen hours over a hot forge every day for people who did not care or appreciate her.
The man gave her a thanks, and she nodded in reply before grabbing the materials she had originally came for and returning to her newly claimed spot. She set them down on the table, letting out a soft sigh. There were so many ideas swimming through her head. She wanted to create so many things, but she knew she had to start small for now. It had been too long, and she was much too rusty. She would have to be patient, for now.

Obei silently walked along with Masato to the arena, looking quite eager to get into a fight for so long. As a part of her heritage, such spars were viewed in the highest caliber. He who was said to fight day after day would be the one who could master any technique, dodge any blow, break any mountain. The two arrived and Obei would stand the 15 meters away from Masato as he entered behind her. Her red eyes viewed him while standing sill, her clawed hands twitching. Her heart was racing. She was in bliss!
"Miss Obei, show me what'cha got."
In an instant her red eyes would focus on him, her hands balling into fists and being brought together to produce a loud clanging sound. Her large foot rose and slammed on the ground. No apparent effect was noticeable at first. The gourd attach to her hip would shake, Obei's chakra pouring into it as the top popped off. 4 long strands of kakkigori poured out of the gourd like water out of a dam, slowly forming into 4 Obei clones that were nearly identical had it not been for the size difference. But before the fun could begin, she wanted to test him.
Obei used one balled fist to smash the ground before, infusing her chakra with the broken ground beneath. She was in too much of a haze to recognize where she was or maybe even whose house she was in. The oni then used used both hands to tear out a literal chunk of ground beneath her. Resting in her arm, she then threw it directly at Masato. The sake clones would join the fight as well, 2 moving to each side and aiming to flank the direction he dodged.

The user will slam both of their fists into the ground, then, using their chakra to stabilize, rip a hunk of stone and clay from the ground. Maximum throwing distance is four meters per rank.

The Oni will manipulate sake with their chakra to create three to five clones that are roughly one third [1/3] the height of the original user. These clones aren't particularly strong, and are destroyed in one hit, but they can become quite bothersome in hordes. The number of pests depends on the chakra used with E ranked creating 3, D ranked creating 4, and C ranked creating 5.
Masato's eyes would turn crimson to match Obei's own, his of course, reflecting the crimson rinnebyakuan in his right eye surrounded by the signature veins of the hyuuga and his own Sharingan in his left. The two eyes would dissect the actions of the oni woman. Her chakra infused with the liquid that she opened the cap of, pouring it out. As Masato watched the chakra take shape with it's liquid vessel and form child sized variations Obei, totaling in four miniatures. The woman would reach into the earth, using chakra to hold it together as she drew it forth, holding a large chunk of soil over her head that would be launched in unison with a flanking action by the four. Seeing all these actions together, Masato would exhale softly as his body would whip quickly in a pivoting, rotating action. From all his own tenketsu points, chakra would be exerted. This exertion in conjunction with the rotating action would create a dome like barrier around the man that would collide with all four of the clones as well as the chunk of earth. The clones would disperse if successful, sending their base form of the frozen treat Kakkigori spattering outward and away from the man while crumbling the earth ball.
Once the techniques would be dispersed, Masato would be visible again to Obei. His image would quickly fade away as she would realize it was nothing more than an afterimage of the man. The real Masato would now be directly to the right of the woman, his arms raised up as though he was defending his torso and face in a similar manner to a boxer's. His positioing would not be correct for a punch however. His tilted angle would give him the range and flexibility to deliver a powerful kick to the woman's abdomen. If unblocked the strike would most likely send her sliding back due to Masato's raw strength. The man smiled as he anticipated her next action.

His eyes were strange. Obei had never seen them before but they certainly were not natural. She watched as the chunk of land would sail towards her opponent. In a single fluid motion he dismissed all of the opposing forces sent his way. Her child sized copies exploded in the delicious frozen treat around him, the oni making a mental note of it. Obei would simply stand and watch Masato as he matched her gaze. That was until he vanished from sight. Taken by surprise she gazed around to try and find him before catching a glimpse of him by her side. Yet he did not strike just yet. A sneaking suspicion egged at her mind. Obei inhaled and steadied herself while waiting for the attack. The kick was indeed powerful, sending the woman sliding away by her boots. The tremendous amount of force had pain course through her system. Obei winced but was grinning. It hurt. It hurt so good.
Yet Masato would be sliding with her. After the blow connected she brought her arm around the foot and used her arm to circle around it. Her freezing metal claws around touch the back of his leg as Obei held her free hand vertically, casting a jutsu. An immense cold would make itself known to Masato, covering the leg that Obei had grappled. The affected area would feel to the point of partial uselessness from how freezing the limb felt, down to the bone. After calling the technique off from the burst of chill, Obei saught to attack with his senses upset.
She rushed at him, catching the shoulder that was opposite of his already grabbed leg. Using her strength, Obei would begin to spin him around as fast as she could. Her massive legs kicked up quite the wind while she spun around for a few seconds. After the fifth rotation, she flipped Masato so that he would be facing the ground. Next, Obei went to throw him into a faceplant using the force built up from the spin.

As if a beckoning hand through a raging snowstorm, this hold is meant to be a powerfully captivating weapon, capable of decommissioning foes swiftly, and quietly. The Hyouton attempts to latch onto their target with a single hand, the opposite hand held firmly in vertical alignment, as if offering a prayer. If successful, the user will instantaneously engulf their prey with a grim chill: first starting at the held area, before encroaching to the rest of the body. The initial burst of cold is often the most effective surge, making caught limbs useless due to extreme numbnessβif not simply afflicting them with frostbite.

This technique calls for the user to perform a close range grapple maneuver. The user will attempt to grab their target at two key points: the shoulder and the knee. After successfully doing so, they will perform a number of circular rotations, discombobulating the opponent. When the user sees it fit, they will flip their prey, so their face is aiming the ground, and end the throw will one solid and brutal face slam. If done correctly, this should be a rather fluid and impossible to break move. The final slam gains two descriptive ranks in strength, but loses three descriptive ranks in speed, per rank.

__Ikuyo snapped her mouth shut. Her bright blue eyes studying Kagami intently. To say she was angered didn't rightly do her emotions justice. Every painful memory of her childhood was brought up a single bright flash, and suddenly she felt like she was back there. The beatings, fighting for food, being kicked out, all of it. From this moment on her destiny was clear to her. She would use these strange new people to suit her purpose, to get stronger amd serve mother earth. Then as soon as her work here was done Ikuyo would make sure to disappear. But what was she expected to say in the meantime? She had no idea of the enemies this 'Warchief' was speaking of. "Aye." The lie slipped between her teeth and even though it was only one word she found herself completely elated. This was the first time in her entire life she had lied, much less to someone so important. Ikuyo forced all these new emotions down to maintain her stoic impressivness, but also out of fear that this Kagami could somehow read her mind and see right through her.

__ Kagami nodded affirmatively when Ikuyo answered her question. "Good! For once someone is actually responding to my questions. You're free to use the training grounds now. Bye bye, dear!" She then snapped her fingers as an agent came in and grabbed Ikuyo by the arm to lead her towards the arena. When the agent took Ikuyo away and shut the door Kagami immediately jumped up and wrapped her arms around the back of Sandayu's neck and her legs around his chest. She planted a lingering kiss on his lips before giggling and letting go of him. She landed on the floor and firmly planted her feet before continuing. "So what did you need to talk about?" Kagami asked in anticipation for him to give her some sort of a report. She assumed that he was going to discuss the army with her.

__Before she even had time to speak again Ikuyo was shoved out the door by one of the overly large muscled guards, not that she would have said anything anyway. With just a snap of her fingers she was accepted into this brand new tribe without nary a trial or even small task! She certainly wasn't going to complain, for now it was time access the library and study what the knowledge of people. I admit it will certainly be interesting what their lore keepers hold on the subject of medicine. Perhpas they have found use for some new herbs I could grind? There was just one thing needed to settle before she finally got to work, and that was to meet with the animal girl from before. For some strange reason she had knocked into her hips when she showed herself out of the meeting and though she didn't act on the on it at the time, Ikuyo now found her curiosity getting the better of her. And yet.. where to look? Walking through the many halls of the institute Ikuyo began her search.
