Roll response: Jellyfish. The ocean was out to get her. She hated jellyfish. She had actually gotten into a situation remarkably like this when she was just a foal. There was nothing to be done about it, she had to go around them rather than through, no matter how long it took. She wasn't going to let herself be stung over and over again. She'd have to get by without her guides for now, hopefully she'd find them again later.

Roll response: Swimming far away from the serpent Kurone wasn't paying attention to where he was going. He missed seeing the sea creatures avoid a strong current up ahead and swam right into it. He tumbled around for a moment before the current threw him back in the direction he came from. He only hope that riddle serpent was gone.

Roll response: The current swept Kurone so far back that he ended up right back at one of the mazes. He stared at it for a long minute before sighing. At least he knew the way and how to avoid the poisonous plants. If he kept going through the maze or mazes he'd be an expert in no time.

Roll response: Kurone exited the maze and lo and behold there were the twin brothers. They looked rather irritated at the fact that he had gotten lost or was it the fact that it looked like quite a few ponies had wandered elsewhere. No matter the reason he was just glad he had found them again. He began to follow after them again and looked all around. It was dark making it hard to tell what was out there but he swore he saw some movement from below. He watched closely for a moment and noticed that it seemed to be reaching for him! He swam back swallowing a yelp of panic. He then noticed it moved in time with the water and swam a little closer. It was just some kelp that had gotten stuck on a rock!

Roll response: Once more following after the brothers he didn't quite catch them pointing out a path to avoid. Instead he caught the tail end of their warning and simply caught them pointing at the path. Thinking they were pointing out something interesting he swam closer to the path only to realize that it was something interesting. It was also something that was trying to suck him in! A whirlpool was at the end of the path and pulling everything in that so much as swam onto the first part of the path. He fought to get away from the path and after exhausting himself he managed to pull free. Okay that's what he really wished what had happened. As it was as passing dolphin came to his rescue and helped him swim away. It chattered at him about the dangers of whirlpools and made him promise to avoid them at all costs.

Roll response: Velia was beginning to think that the ocean itself was upset that she hadn't been a willing sacrifice. There was an angler fish. She was quite certain they were not meant to get that large. Velia turned around slowly so as to not draw attention to herself before swimming away as fast as she possibly could.

Roll response: Kurone was out of sight of the brothers again but he thought he heard them on the other side of some coral. He swam into it and quickly realized that he should have swam over the coral forest not into it. His wings were not helpful even tucked against his body as they kept trying to catch on the coral and he was trying to not break anything. He eventually made it out slightly tired from the whole thing. Were they almost there?!

Roll response: Spotting the group ahead Kurone swam to catch up. As he did he spotted something floating down in front of him. He noticed it seemed to catch some light and it sparkled slightly in the dark. Swimming up to it he saw it was a bottle with something in it. He grabbed it with one paw and glanced at it. There was paper with some strange markings on it. He shrugged and decided to hold onto it for later.

Roll response: Velia was relieved to have found the mer brothers again in the depths and had gone back to using them as her guides. She almost wished she hadn't when she noticed something stirring in the shadows. She started propelling herself forward just a bit faster in the water to get away from whatever was trying to grab at her. She didn't know what it was and, to be honest, she didn't want to.

Roll response: Trying to catch up to the group Kurone wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. He thus missed a net that was slightly caught on a rock he was about to pass. Noticing it too late he swam right into the net and quickly became tangled. He tried to rear back and threw his wings wide open. Neither thing helped but it did make him more tangled up. It was going to take him a while to get out.

Roll response: Had they gone back towards the shallows when they weren't looking? Or was this simply an unusual sunlight hating variety of kelp? Honestly she wasn't sure she mattered because she was still in the middle of it with no idea where her guides had gone and no idea which way was out.

Roll response: A whirlpool. If she hadn't been convinced the ocean was trying to claim her life before she knew for sure now. Wasting no time she turned away and used her strong tail to propel herself out of the whirlpool's reach.

Roll response: Right out of the whirlpool and straight into a giant squid's ink trail. Velia's eyes burned as she struggled to see through the black and honestly she couldn't really tell where the inky black ended and the slightly less black deep ocean began.
