While the day went on, Princess Rei decided to sit down in a nearby rocking chair close to the area where patients would wait to be seen. She held her little boy in her arms, letting him drift off to sleep. Truly, she was a bit worn out from tending to patients on her own roster from earlier. It didn't take long before Rei found herself falling asleep in the old rocking chair as well. Not even the other staff members dared bother her at all, knowing she was a little exhausted. Rei had no idea how long she'd remain there, for the entire lobby was indeed silent for quite a while.

Angelo made sure to check on the two in between his filing, smiling at the scene mother and son made. He also made aire that no obe would bother them anf glared at any one who made to much noise, including patients. After a while he decided to wake Rei up so he could ask that she head home with her little one. "Rei. Rei, wake up." he said softly as he placed a hand on her shoulder, gently shaki ng her awake.

Princess Rei managed to open her eyes half way, stifling a yawn with her free hand while feeling someone gently shaking her on the shoulder. "Hmm?" she muttered, blinking a few times to clear her vision, long enough to look up and see her companion Angelo standing close by. Rei had no idea how long she'd slept, but it felt good to rest even if only a little while. Time seemed to really go by, even though she guessed it could've been well into the afternoon. Little Akio on the other hand, was still asleep, for Rei had a feeling it would be a while before he was ready to awaken.

"Hey. Sorry to woke you, Princess. But do you wanna head home with your little one? I can cover for you if you want. It's no problem." He he said with a smile as he pushed a cup of hot coffee into her hand, to help her get more awake just a little. "Here. Made some coffee for you too." he added softly, so as not to wake little Akio, who seemed.to be sleeping soundly. He smiled at the sight, knowing that the little boy was going to be sleeping for a while for now. At least until he gets hungry or needs changing.

Without a word, Rei gladly took the cup of coffee from Angelo. She thought for a moment, choosing her words carefully. "S-Sure. Thank you." Princess Rei spoke softly, managing to smile a little. She drank the contents of the cup, then tossed it into the nearest trash can before cautiously standing. Princess Rei was careful not to wake her little boy, holding him in one arm. She gave her companion Angelo a hug goodbye before turning to walk out of the hospital entrance in silence. Truly, she was glad to have some support with taking care of her newest family member, despite the circumstances. Rei made her way down the street, walking directly towards home.

Angelo nodded and watched her go. "Oh, call or stop by my house if you need anything!" he called out to her as she exited the doors. He watched her go, hoping that she and little Akio would be safe on their way home. And with that, he got back to work, covering for Rei as well as his own duties. He knew he would be exhausted when he got home, but he really was find with it. After all, he was helping out a friend. And that meant a lot to him as he didn't make them easily. He madr a mental note to get something nice to little Akio later on.

While taking a stroll to her job, Princess Rei had made it half way through towards where all the cars would be left. She adjusted her grip a bit on her infant son Akio, making sure he didn't fall. She wore her usual royal attire which was a medium violet, elvish style dress that went down to her ankles with matching flats, tiara and all. She kept her long, raven black hair down in a low ponytail out of habit so it wouldn't be in her face. Despite feeling tired, Princess Rei was glad to at least tend to a few patients whom she remembered were first up on her roster that morning. No doubt it wouldn't be that much different than most busy days at the hospital. Princess Rei softly hummed the only tune her mother ever taught her, the Ballad of the Goddess, one she'd memorized since she was a child long ago. It was enough to keep her occupied for the moment while slowly approaching the building, sensing no signs of trouble by far.

Angelo sighed when he saw thw hospital.come into view then blinked when he saw Rei near the parking lot. "Morning, Rei. " he called out to her, gaining her attention as he walked up to her, coffee in hand. He smiled down at little Akio before looking back at Rei. For some reason, and he did not know why, but he felt like something was going to happen. And not the good kind. He inwardly pushed ths thoughts aside as he awaited her reaponse.

When the princess turned her gaze on her right, she managed to smile tiredly at her dear companion. "Good morning, Angelo. How are you?" she asked calmly while stopping in her tracks. She found a bench off to the side of the parking lot and sat down for a bit to rest after walking quite a long distance. For a moment, Rei thought she sensed something unnatural off in the distance, but didn't bother to say anything for the moment. Little Akio, she noted, appeared to catch on to what she must've been thinking by his expression. Rei managed to relax, not wanting to worry either her companion or her little boy.

"Tired." was Angelo's response as he took a seat beside Two. "I did not get a lot of sleep due to..." He he started to add but stopped.before shaking his head. "Nevermind. So, how are you enjoying motherhood so far?" he asked as he leaned back against the bench with a sigh, closing his eyes and enjoying the quiet for a bit. He opened one eye to see Rei scanning the area for something and frowned inwardly as the feeling from earlier came back. It was like his kitsune instincts were telling him to be on guard and to keep an eye on Rei and her little one.

"Your curse. I remember you spoke of it the other day." Princess Rei spoke calmly in understanding. She fell silent, letting Angelo speak again. Her gaze shifted back towards him. "It's been quite wonderful." Rei answered her companion, doing her best to stay awake. She noticed little Akio was getting a bit fussy from his expression, nearly realizing that she hadn't given him his bottle of milk. 'Shoot... of all times, I've forgotten already.' Rei thought observantly. "Would you mind joining me at Cidnie's for dinner tonight? It's sort of a special occasion." she asked Angelo curiously.

Angelo gave a nod. "Yeah. It's why I feel so tired." he replied after a moment, taking a sip of his coffee. He smiled at her. "I can tell. Motherhood is good for you." he replied as.he settled back against the bench as he watched little Akio start to fuss. He blinked at thr invitation before thinking about the offer. "I would be honored." he added with a smile after thinking about it. He had yet to visit the restaurant, so it would be interesting to see what it looked like.

In the dead of night, the witch sent a small bug to the unfortunate spa owner, rendering her unable to go outside. She also temporarily added onto her blight, making it so that she was unable to effectively communicate through her phone, thus making her unable to reach her friend, the doctor, and tell her that she couldn't make it. Karmala, meanwhile, decided to crash the party, putting on a guise that was more familiar to Rei. Now having become Anna, she makes her way to the hospital, where she sits in the lobby, waiting to wish her "friend" a happy birthday.

Princess Rei managed to smile a little to hear Angelo's answer. It wasn't every day she'd get the chance to do something different, yet this time was a chance to maybe introduce him to one of her other companions. "Great! We'll go after our shifts conclude." Princess Rei spoke calmly. She stood up with little Akio in her arms, realizing it was time to begin. "In the meantime, guess we'd best get on with our duties. See you inside." Rei added, noting the sun's position in the sky. She then walked slowly into the hospital, carrying her little boy. Once indoors, she politely thanked one of the other nurses for giving her the fresh bottle of milk and began feeding little Akio, who in turn settled down. Rei's gaze shifted towards the lobby area, noting a familiar face. "Lady Anna, what are you doing here?" she inquired, remaining on her guard out of habit. There was something a bit out of place, that much Rei could tell. Yet so far nothing was amiss. Rei waited patiently as ever, wondering as to why the spa owner would come into the hospital so early, instead of being home.
