After a while of waiting, Erryn and Farah started to doze of. She really didn't want to, but she was suddenly so tired. Just as she was about to fall asleep, the door to the lobby opened and the two looked over to see Bryant being escorted in by another nurse Pokemon. Erryn got up and ran over to the Riolu, hugging him tightly. She heard a sigh from him, which made her let go and glare at him. Though, she probably didn't look intimidating with tears forming in her eyes."You shouldn't run off like that, Bryant! I didn't have a clue where to look for you! What if you had been hurt!? I was so--"Erryn stopped her angry-relieved rant when Bryant held out her jacket. She took and looked at it before it dawned on her."...Where's the egg?"Bryant pointed to the counter where the nurse was putting it in an incubator, watching as the machine's glass window frosted over quickly. The ice must have melted. Alola was a warm region. Erryn took a breath and slid back against the wall, Farah walking up to her as Bryant sat next to her."I think we need to get stronger. Those guys sounded like they'd be back for the egg and I don't want anything to happen to it or any of you. Not like it happened to Cuno."

The three ended up falling asleep in the hallway, Farah curled up with her head resting on Erryn's lap and Bryant leaning against her. When Erryn woke up, it was because something was lightly scratching at her leg. She rubbed her eyes and looked up at Cuno, the blue bird looking down at her. It looked completely healthy now. She knew it probably wouldn't appreciate it, but she couldn't help herself and shot up to hug it. Cuno stiffened, but didn't do anything to show displeasure."I'm so happy you're okay now, Cuno.""Cu."Cuno began looking around Bryant and Erryn laughed a bit. It was really fond of that egg."The nurse put it in a special incubator in the lobby. I'll get it for you."

"Ah." Naomi nodded his head slowly. There wasn't much to say, in way of comments, at least nothing that would be polite to say to the stranger-turned-sensei; but in the back of his mind, Naomi couldn't help but to think of the strange relationship Dallas and Austin shared. "I am grateful for your help, sensei," he remarked. And he was, especially considering Austin had to pay him to help with his pokemon. Naomi was getting his lessons for free.
He listened attentively to Dallas' evaluation of his team, and hoped that they were doing the same. Ieyasu's ear twitched as he listened to the large human prattle off something about cool and tough, and while the context of such words were lost on him, they still managed to radiate throughout him. Never much for pride, he was still pleased with the idea of being associated with 'tough', because that was certainly how he'd been raised to be! Mori yawned loudly in the face of his suggestions, though from the way he held his body upright he was far more interested than his sleepy demeanor revealed. He was... cute? Hm. Well, that wasn't too bad a thing, he supposed. Tomoe, who was quite the mini fan of her new name, did a bit of an 180 dance so that she could stare at Dallas. She tilted her head to the side, bug eyes unblinking, and watched as the faint aura surrounding him shifted. Amongst the thorns a bud had suddenly sprouted. Her wings fluttered, but she stayed atop of Naomi's finger. He wasn't a flower just yet, but he had some potential.
"You are a very intuitive person!" Naomi complimented, rather blown away by the accuracy of his evaluation. Cool or tough for Ieyasu, cute for Mori, at least for now, and smart for Tomoe, with the option for cute as well. Naomi would remember this, but in the off-chance that he forgot the teen pulled out a piece of paper and began to dutifully jot down Dallas' suggestions. He was surprised with how spot on he'd been with Sousa too, the bird was better suited for fighting and protecting, and Naomi didn't think he'd enjoy showing off his battle-honed techniques for an audience.
While pleased with Mori and Sousa's quick thinking, Naomi couldn't help but to frown in wake of Dallas' comment, a rarity. He wasn't insulted by his words, but rather he saw the truth behind it. He would have felt guilty if he'd simply brushed Bounsweet's plight for just a game. "You are right," he admitted, voice taking the hushed tone of a scolded child. He grew quiet from there, but nodded at the suggestion of capturing Bounsweet. Naomi waved Rotom over, then held out his hand, open palm. His silent request was granted, though Rotom waited until he had safely deposited himself into his hand before switching over to pokedex mode, an entry of the Bounsweet species already waiting. He read it, and its evolutions over, and afterwards retrieved one of the pokeballs gifted to him by the Professor. "Would you care to join me? I promise to keep you safe from any who try to harm you," he inquired of Bounsweet, who was still rubbing herself against Mori. She stopped, then blinked in Naomi's direction, and after considering his words she nodded and hopped away from Mori so that she could be properly captured.
It was a quick process, a red light enveloping around Bounsweet before she was sucked inside the capsule, which prompted its capture sequence of rocking back and forth. When it finally grew still it was only for a brief second, before Bounsweet popped back out with a cheery cry and spun in a circle. "Empress Jingū shall be your name, if you will allow it, in acknowledgement of your final evolution." Jingū didn't seem to mind it. Naomi smiled gently, and with that taken care of he glanced up at Dallas. "I am ready to continue."

Erryn had to wake Farah and Bryant up so they could go to the lobby with her, being too worried to leave them alone after what happened on Route 2. Out in the lobby, Cuno followed them to the counter where the nurse and her Pokemon were by one of the healing machines. She waited for them to finish healing the other trainer's Pokemon; it'd be rude."I'm happy to see your Articuno is doing better. How can we help you?"Cuno wasn't hers, but she decided it'd be too much trouble to explain that right now."Can we have that egg back? Cuno's really worried about it."The nurse nodded and quickly returned the egg, but Cuno acted before Erryn could and hopped onto the counter to encase it in ice again before producing a cloth from its feathers (Erryn thought it was better not to question that) to carry it like it had been when she first saw it."You must really love that egg."Erryn was surprised when Cuno handed her the carrier pouch. It was surprisingly cold. Maybe that was why it left the cloth in its feathers."...You want me to keep it?""Cu.""Does...that mean you want to come with me, too?"Cuno nodded and Erryn got out a ball. She hoped she didn't let it down. It seemed to have some kind of faith in her."Okay, then. The three left the center, though Bryant was a bit uncomfortable; Cuno was following him rather closely and watching him as if to determine if he would be allowed to carry the egg. After five minutes of that, Cuno relaxed and fell back in step behind them. Bryant let out a visible sigh before returning his attention to the egg. He and Cuno were like protective parents."Okay, you guys. I think we need to do some training. Erryn would have liked to have at least a couple of them in their balls, but Bryant was in charge of looking after the egg right now and Cuno didn't even want to be in the ball. If she returned Farah, Erryn would feel bad about it....Maybe she should let Rattata out sometime. He'd been in his ball for a while while the others were rarely in them at all. In a bit, she'd switch one out for him. She couldn't have all of her Pokemon out with her. They were already drawing a lot of attention.
Speaking of Rattata, though, Erryn spotted a weird-looking one bound out in front of them. Did Alola have Pokemon from other regions that had adapted to the different climate? That was so cool! That was fast, and a bit of an overkill. But, that was okay. Erryn would get it healed up at the Pokemon Center. She had to catch it first, though, so she got out a ball and tossed it at the unconscious Rattata.

When it dinged, she beamed and waited for Farah to bring the ball back; the Charmander seemed to really like doing that."I wonder what I should call it....I still need to name the other Rattata and Cuno, too.""Char?""Huh?...Oh. Cuno's not its name. It's just easier to say than Art....Ar...."Wait. What was it called again? Erryn got out her Pokedex and let it scan Cuno, waiting for its entry to pop up. It can create blizzards by freezing moisture in the air.""...Legendary...?"That term was completely lost on her, but that was okay. At least she knew what it was now.

First thing coming into the city, Eline didn't think she'd be chasing after her Vulpix. Regardless, there she was, running as fast as she could, dodging and weaving through the mild traffic on the main street until Titanium leaped over a fence and cut through a small courtyard to another part of the city. Eline jumped the fence herself, but apparently, she'd ended up startling a wild Rattata making it block her path. "Please... Ugh. Titani--" Nope, she was already leaping over another fence, meaning Eline had to deal with this Rattata before she could continue. "Sulfur, you can manage it, right?" Eline inquired, finding the feline already stalking his way close to the rat in order to attack. She'd already caught and recorded the data of this one, so she didn't need to worry about Sulfur fainting it. Pouncing on the rat, Sulfur scratched it, getting a mean tackle in return, but with one more scratch, Sulfur was victor. Eline scooped him up and used a potion on him as she continued her chase after Titanium.

Leaping over the fence, Eline continued her chase. She'd noted the direction Titanium had run in, but not entirely where she'd gone. So, it wasn't surprising that the white-haired woman lost sight of the Alolan Vulpix. "Great..." She sighed. Releasing Fluorine, she felt she was her best bet to find the Vulpix. "Fluorine, could you search for Titanium up in the sky?" Eline asked. The bird nodded, taking flight. Within seconds the bird spot Titanium, floating around in circles over her respective target. Eline quickly caught up and found Titanium guarding what appeared at first to be a barnacle of some sort, but upon closer inspection it was in fact a Mareanie. What she was protecting it from was a Wingul. "Sulfur use Scratch!" Eline ordered, letting Sulfur leap from her arms. The feline came down upon the bird, knocking it from the sky, allowing him to easily dig his claws into the bird's back. It flailed some cawing loudly in the air. Eline didn't need to call for another order, as Sulfur already had things dealt with, using scratch once more to finally faint the bird and silence it.
Eline tossed a ball, using it upon the bird in order to capture and record it's data, however she would not be keeping it on her team. One ball was needed, and soon the bird was captured. Releasing it once more, she placed it hidden in the tall grass, then headed back to find Titanium and Sulfur resting nearby the Mareanie. "So what do we have here?" Eline asked. "Your kind isn't normally found on this side of the island. What on earth brought you here?" She asked, kneeling down beside the Mareanie. It had marking on it that weren't normally obtained in the wild. It looked like... burns of some sort, not form a fire-type, but from rope. "Yo, Look'et what we got here." Someone voiced from behind Eline. She turned her gaze slightly, catching the appearance of what appeared to be one of the thugs that roamed Alola.... making trouble for others. "A fine woman like you should step aside so I can take back that trouble maker." Eline's gaze narrowed. Team Skull... like any of the various 'teams' across the land, Team Skull was just as annoying as the others. She'd dealt with them plenty during her years being a researcher. One thing for sure, this Mareanie was not likely his. Eline stood, taking a defensive pose, Titanium, Sulfur, Lithium and Fluorine all creating a wall between the Mareanie and the Skull memeber. "Whats this? Yo, you gotta be joking. Alright, if I have to take it back by force then I'll do just that." The grunt then tossed out a ball, releasing his first pokemon.

His first Pokemon was a Pikipek, a common flying-type on the island. Also fairly weak, so this grunt must be on the lower end of the food chain. Titanium, why don't you take this one?" Eline suggested, motioning the vixen forward. She was first to come to the Mareanie's aid, so it was best she be the one to continue fighting to protect it. Not to mention her advantage over the bird was helpful. The vixen cried into the air, summoning a small hail storm that began to rain down small ice chunks into the field. "Use Ice Shard!" Eline ordered. The Vixen quickly issued her attack, getting in some serious damage. It retaliated with Rock Smash, to be expected, but still it didn't phase Titanium much.
In the end Eline ended up using more than what she'd anticipated, but she'd won regardless. And with her having far more Pokemon than the grunt had, the coward quickly retreated. Eline held off Lithium and called Sulfur back. "He's not worth the chase." Eline stated. "I'm sure he'll get his just deserts once he returns to whatever hole he came from." She added, turning back now to find the Mareanie had finally moved the front appendages of her body. Revealing the rather cute body hidden within. Eline knelled down once more, offering a hand forward. "Why don't you come with me, and we can get you checked out at the Pokemon Center?" Eline had expected the little one to still be wary, but she slid forward, gently resting a tiny hand on Eline's finger. Picking up the Mareanie, Eline held it delicately in her arms, not really wanting to end up poisoned by on of it's barbs.
