This last time he managed to do alright against the chicken, what was better is he had her attention. That meant she wasn't double teaming his mother. There was no doubt he'd take an arrow for his mother, he'd jump off a cliff if she told him to. So when they started raining down from all sorts of directions, it was all he could think of to try and get into the way.
With a grimace, the teen weakly tried to push the two harpies. If he could just get them into the paths of the arrows, momma would be safe. He wished his father would get turned into a pin cushion. If that was the last thing he saw, it would be worth a lot of the pain.
Hissing again, the teen made his stand laying prone on the grounds he had grown up on. This was it, the only home he had ever known.

Trying to understand this pae was hurting her head more than their "attacks" were. So far, not even the coconut hurt as much as listening to this gaggle of goons ramble on. If the black one didn't believe her brains were scrambled then there was something even more wrong with her than the naga previously thought.
She at least was proving to be a somewhat decent punching bag. Now if she'd only sit still....
Lashing out with her tail again, Anali recoiled as a rock came soaring at her, though she ducked and it missed her all together. Blinking, her gold gaze narrowed on the newer faun, one with some silly little hat on. Great, another goober to the goon squad. And was Branch Brain.....shaking....her rear at her?!
"You vermin make me livid..." she hissed, baring her fangs and strikin again at he black fae. It was then she noticed the Naga reinforcements fleeing the temple and she heard a distinct cry from inside the temple to.... finish them. Not in a voice she recognized either.
Taken aback, the naga recoiled backwards an inch or so, eyes darting about all around her.
Was her family losing? It couldn't be.....
"COWARDS!" she spat at the passing so called Naga back ups before maneuvering herself around the fae so that her back faced the temple. She didn't turn her back on the three, but she wasn't exactly making as solid of lunges as she was before. Instead, she resorted to quick strikes to keep them at bay before backing up and repeating, inching ever so slowly back towards the temple. She wasn't going to go down without a fight, but if her parents were getting outnumbered in there....well she wanted to get back in and help until the very end.
She could only hope these three didn't realize what was going on and would turn tail to flee instead of charging on in.

Freed of the screeching avian pest, at least for the moment, the empress took stock of the situation. Several of her children were decently injured, most being ganged-up upon by several enemies at a time; Eris had fled, as had their Naga allies. Those cowardly bastards! If she ever laid hands on them again...
They were weakening, and they were scattered. If there was any hope of rallying, they needed to regroup. Darting forward with lightning speed, her coils forming a wall between Takshaka and the harpies, she stood up tall and raised her voice to echo from the halls.
"TO ME, MY CHILDREN!"
They were too scattered to hold their ground. But if they regrouped, formed a united front, perhaps they might have a chance to get out of this alive.
...if they hadn't already fled like those other cowards.

Who is engaged? Hjortur, Caine, and Hymnaios -> Nadira, Nyra, Shakira, Takshasha (+Zulfiqar and Sen'ka)
He could feeling, he could smell it. Oh this kill would be absolutely the most wonderful sort of revenge that the king could manage... if it weren't for a pesky net catching him, that was. Stopping immediately in his tracts and glaring up with a hiss at the one who had dared 'net' him, he noticed the purple-eyed god move away and aim for one of his own.
Tsk...
Ripping the net off, he turned, eyes focused on a new source of prey. Alright, fine. FINE. He could take them both on. Those claws looked like they might be tasty after all. The emperor bared his fangs, hissing loudly, prepared to strike...
"TO ME, MY CHILDREN!"
Immediately, he turned his head towards his mate's voice, only then taking notice of his 'allies' from the Dragnid and Eris feeling. Why those little cowards! "I ever get my hands on them, oh they'll with they had been killed..." he cursed under his breath. These useless pae'il could wait; his mate (and children) needed his strength.
Slithering away, he flicked his irritation of a son Zulfiqar with his tail, prompting him to follow, and picked up his severely wounded daughter, Sen'ka. To think that his children, strong and proud members of the Angwi clan should be affected so...
It was disappointing, but at least they were not cowards.
He set Sen'ka down beside her brother, uncaring of any potential conflict they had against one another as he took a position besides his mate. He raised himself proudly, hood flattened out. "Whatever the outcome..." he said softly to her, "...we are not a clan of cowards."

Who is engaged? Nyra, Shakira, Empress Nadira,Emperor Jahleel
A loyal child, to his mother anyway, Takshaka wasted no time trying to answer his mother's call. The effort was slow and agonizing but he was trying. Grit and debris found its way into the deep wounds. Slithering across sandpaper covered in salt might have hurt less. Each inch was earned with a hiss of pain. He was trying!
As an inch was gained, the teen slammed his fist into the ground ready to cry. It wasn't over the agony, no it was because he wasn't answering his Mother's call fast enough. With all his nearly exposed heart he wanted to answer the call.
Once illustrious blue scales were dimming and gold of his underbelly was a coat of red. If he was lucky, he'd make it to her side. Beyond that, the teen didn't have much hope. Only thing he wanted was to see his father fall and hear his mother's praise.
With a grunt, he made it one more inch forward, a gruesome trail in his wake.

Who is engaged? Nyra, Nadira, and Tutu
Shakira heard the cries of the harpy fighting her prey nearby and was suddenly reminded of her priorities. Nadira was hers to kill, she wasn't going to let this other harpy have that trophy. As Shakira was turning towards them to begin her attack on Nadira, she found the wind knocked right out of her as the other harpy collided with her. "You fool!" she squawked once she had caught her breath, blaming the other harpy for their current predicament. Shakira pushed the other harpy off of her, not at all gently considering that this harpy could potentially be one of her own.
She was not going to let the queen get away from her! It was too late though. In the moments that it had taken Shakira to get Nyra off of her, the Emperor had arrived at Nadira's side along with several of their children. Shakira knew when she was outmatched and knew she couldn't take on both the heads with just herself and this useless other harpy. Someday... she would hunt Nadira down, but today was not that day. Though the battle was in their favor at the moment, Shakira did not want to be near the entire naga clan as they did what desperate creatures do when they see the end of their life approaching.
The proud harpy couldn't just walk away though. No... she was going to fly away, directly over the empress, letting her talons drag against the hood of the snake if the queen wasn't smart enough to duck. If Shakira missed the first time... well she was definitely going to fly around for a second go at the empress.

At the call of her mother, Anali turned around, her gold eyes peering into the depths of the temple. Glaring back at the three that had ganged up on her she let out a fierce hiss. "Parties over rats!" she growled, turning and darting as quickly as she could back towards her mother, her father and gathering of siblings, unknowingly passing the fleeing Nahusha in all the commotion.
Gaining speed she coiled over fallen foes, fallen allies, bits of broken debris, it didn't matter at this point. Pain was pain and it only made you stronger. "Mother! Father!" she called out, slipping between the Empress's coiled wall only to find a few of her siblings fallen already. Takshaka was no surprise, bu t Sen'ka? Those filthy mongrels would pay. Oh they'd pay with their lives, even if it killed her in the process!
Perching on her coils, she raised herself as tall as possible, ready to see this to the end.

Who is engaged? Tembikai > fleeing naga
Prisma watched as the naga continued forward and right into her rabbit hole. She watched his form quickly disappear, as if he had just jumped down some sort of under ground slide. "Slidey slidey bye-bee bye-bee!" she giggled, leaning forward in the air and wigging her fingers at the hole, certain for sure that he was having fun now!
At least....until she spun around in one of her many happy dances and saw him re enter the room upon the call of a much larger and even more grumpy snakey wakey. "Ooooh.....that must be mommy snakey wakey extremely! I guess she preferred the pink over this new theme too." Prisma shrugged in mid air, checking over her staff to see if there had been any damage caused from bonking the silly bean on the head.
Upon seeing there was none, the derpy fae twirled about in mid air, looking around for her silly kitty kitty, unable to find him in all this..... what even was going on here?!
"This is the most strangest party Prisma has seen ever extremely..." she said, tilting her head in confusion just as another snake seemed to try one last lunge attempt at the closet prey. Squeaking, she shot her staff out instinctively and bonked him one right upside the head......rather by mistake quiet honestly. But before she could apologize, the snake wiggled itself right on out the temple quicker than quick! "Oopsies.... Sorry sorry!" she called after it, waving happily.
