My parents know that I like shonen ai although they're homophobics so they don't agree with it. I don't think they know that I like yaoi though.

Heh, no one in my family knows. I am sure my parents would freak out if they did know because they are so old school and against all this boyxboy stuff. They would be like, "Males go with females, you can't have two of each, it's not right."
Tho I think my brothers wouldn't care, they are very open minded people. >3
I think they would even get me some books and stuff knowing what they are like. Lmao

My sister knows and doesn't mind at all, we talk about it sometimes. My brother is clueless, even if he did know he still wouldn't understand and probably shrug it off. My parents don't know and I don't plan on telling them unless it came up in a serious conversation.

My family doesn't know that I read shounen-ai and yaoi, in fact they don't even know what it is. They know that I love Gravitation and Loveless, but they don't know what they are about. If I told them I think they would freak.

i tried bonding with my mum once 3nodding ..yea..somehow we started talking about yaoi, and then i had to explain what it was..so now i have to go to church two freaking times a week neutral

My mom found out a few weeks ago that I store yaoi pics in my laptop.
She called it 'porn' XDDD
There is no shame to it talk2hand
I was kinda happy that she found out because the first time I told her that I was for gay marriage an what not she looked at me like I didn't know what the fudge I was talking about.

Besides my parents, I've also told my cousin and she said that i have issues and should go to therapy or something. So she told her mom, her mom told her neighbor, her neighbor told the other neighbors and my mom knows for sure..
It pissed me off at the moment, but now i'm glad they know those ******** -_____-

omg, i don't know what they'd do if i DID tell them, which i'm not going to in the next lifetime. >< they'd probably freak, since they're chinese and were raised in china and all...they don't even talk about whether or not i have a boyfriend yet, so i don't think they'll take it too well on the whole yaoi/shounen-ai thing.
...but, here's the thing: i think my mom has looked through my yaoi pics, but she hasn't said anything yet, and neither has my dad, so i take it that's a good thing...?

My dad hasn't noticed what I read or watch in my spare time, really, although he knows how many (non-anime) gay themed television shows and movies I record on DVR. My mom knows that I'm interested in shonen-ai and yaoi, and it doesn't bother her at all. My sister knows too, and it doesn't bother her. She'll even read some shonen-ai, if she finds the story to the particular series to be interesting.

I'm pretty sure that my parents don't know. They're really open minded and when I do things like participate in the Day of Silence they think it's good of me and stuff, my niece knows but she doesn't care. But to tell the truth... I'm just nervous about saying anything. I doubt they'd care though.

my mom knows. she is kinda wierded out about it but she accepts it. she even accepts gay people but she hates PDA btw anyone. I could not care less if my father knew. he is officially been jutted out of my life. well my family knows including my brother and sisters. my mom even bought me Selfish love volume 1 and 2.
