"I can't stop you." she smiled and went around one of the few trees. She took off her belt and shoes before slipping out of her lavender dress. She carefully slid into the water there. She made sure to weigh down her underclothes in doing so they clung to her. She carefully waited out into the lake, nothing but her neck and parts of her arms could be seen.

"Works for me." He said, turning away as he saw her go behind the tree. When he heard her enter the water he turned back around and went behind a bush to get undressed so that all was left were his boxers. He put his drawing things down under his clothes so they wouldn't blow away and made his way into the water, shivering a little at it's coolness.

Bernadette turned her teeth chattering a little. "A bit cold isn't it." she said smiling a little. She kept her legs moving under water trying to get warm again.

"Just a bit... but I've had worse." He said with a nod as he dove under the water, coming up a second later and shaking his head a little.

She turned her head so the water wouldn't get in her eyes.

When he stopped she noticed she had turned away. "Sorry about that, but it is the quickest way you're gonna get used to the water."

"Well then." She dove under for a moment. When she came back she flipped her hair back behind her. "Your right."

"Told ya so." He smiled looking away when she flipped her hair, getting a bunch of spray in his direction.

She smiled and then began to float on her back. "Once your used to it, its quite nice."

"Mhmm." He nodded as he looked over at her, blushing slightly. He watched her for a moment before he started to swim around, careful not splash her.

She looked over watching him a bit. "So other then hunting and drawing, what do you do all day?" She asked.

He shrugged. "Not a hell of a lot to be honest. Occasionally I do odd jobs around the village to help out but that's about it."

"Sounds pretty lonely." She sat up, treading water now. "I mean.... Oh I didn't mean to say it like that." She bit her lip.

She swam closer to him. "Oh and I brought it up and... Oh I'm sorry Alex." She felt bad. She had a way of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
