Rufus was nearly hit three times by the ball. He looked up for the beater who seemed to have it out for him. "Well if that's the way he wants it lets make things harder for him." He said as he brought his moontrimmer up in the air moving so the sun was right behind him using the light to his advantage.

Shina circled closer to where Chase was hovering. After a moment of watching the new try-outs go through their paces, she turned to her teammate. "Want to run some passes?" she offered.

Ver watched as Chance successively missed hitting Rufus. The poor kid had already gotten a bloody nose form her so she felt kind of bad for him. She shrugged the feeling of pity off and scanned the pitch.

A whistle sounded through the air. "Okay everyone! Listen up!" she called out as the team arrived around her. Okay, we have the team. she thought with a smile. "Here is the team list. Cat, is Keeper again, Chase stays as chaser, as am I. Rufus, you got Chaser. Shina got Seeker. Beater for Verily. Chance you are reserve Beater, we may need you soon, depends if Phi is able to play or not, I'll let you know. Selena, You made Reserve Chaser." she said. She looked at the team. "Now, You are dismissed! New members please see me!" she said as she turned and waved her wand, summoning the quaffle, bludger, and snitch to her.

Verily heard her name called as the team's beater and smiled. She had wanted Seeker, but she loved playing beater just as much. When Rosemarie asked for new team members to see her she drifted over to her. "yes?" She asked quietly.

The clumsy little first year ran as quickly as he could down to the Quidditch Pitch, after having tripped at least six times in his jog. Out of breath, he stumbled over to the captain and put up a finger as he wheezed and regained his breath.“*HUFF...PUFF* Am...*HUFF*..I...late...for...*deep breath, hacking, coughing, wheezing*...tryouts?” He was handed a piece of parchment which he then took to filling out, since he didn’t know what else to do.

Lyre had followed behind Gren, giggling at him near constantly. Every time he fell over, she helped him stand. At one point, she tripped over him, when she got distracted by an owl. She hurriedly waddled after him, curiosity plaguing her. She saw the huge area and gasped. She saw the three hoops on one end, and figured it must be for a sport. "How the heck do they play basketball all the way up there? There is no way anyone could make that shot!" she thought, looking up. She didn't know what to do, so she climbed the stairs to sit in the stands. She wondered why they were so high up. "I can barely see what is going on!" she pondered, squinting to try and see her friend.
