Aiden strolled down the street, hands in his pockets, thinking about how odd it was not to have Harley on his heels. If his wolf was ever going to learn to abandon his abandonment issues however, Aiden would have to get him used to being alone, and the sooner the better.

He stopped suddenly in front of The Three Broomsticks, considering for a moment where exactly his destination was. Realizing how spontaneous his departure from the shop had been, Aiden shrugged his broad shoulders and headed for the doors.

The Cael let out an easy going laugh, his hand running down the side of his cheek. Was he that much of a flirt in his Hogwart’s days? Surely not. He had more important things to worry about than the hormones and the opposite gender. Not that he had his fair share of girls. Madam Puddifoot was probably well out his range. “Well no need to dwell on the past when there’s beautiful woman standing next to me right now is there?” God like silver eyes looked away from her gaze, choosing to pay attention to the storefronts as he said his comment.

Lyra followed his lead, her eyes diverting towards the shop front as her cheeks burned with the bright blood that filled them. "Guess not." She nearly mumbled, trying to keep her cool. "So, do you feel like meeting any of the shop owners, or perhaps stopping for a bite to eat, by chance?" She asked, not sure what her job as "tour guide" entitled.

Joshua swerved his head from left to right, looking at the different shop windows. There wasn’t really any place in particular that he needed supplies from. Brook should have some things prepared for him back at the shop. But then again, he did forget to pick him up. Who knows what else he forgot. Glancing at the woman who had taken his arm, he made a subtle reply, “I entrust you know the perfect place for food. Although…desserts is what I’m truly excited for.” While his last words could have come out as a bad pick up line, it wasn’t. Or at least, that’s not how it sounded like. His tone was monotonous with a hint of enthusiasm. Not enough to get a cocky vibe from him.

Lyra watched the man carefully as he seemed to be having a conversation in his head. When he finally spoke, she nodded in reply, steering him to their immediate right. "Well in that case, Madam Puddifoot's has just reopened, and I heard the new owner serves up a mean lunch special." Lyra smirked, thinking about Joshua's second comment. She knew the Tea Shop also offered a long list of delicate desserts, but she also knew one other place that this man could be served something better after lunch. Choosing her reply wisely, she simply added, "And I think you'll be satisfied with my their dessert choices, as well."

His train of thought was suddenly lost as they took an abrupt turn to the tea shop. The sudden hastiness of Lyra’s actions caused Joshua to smile, following her lead. “The tea shop eh?” He replied quizzically, wandering into his own thoughts. “The way I remember, this was frequent spot for couples was it not?” A small chuckle let out. His otherwise stern face let loose to a small smile. It was only for a small moment until it retorted back into his casual handsome face. “Looking forward to it,” Joshua said allowing Lyra another small smile.

Catching Josh by surprise brought a tenderness to Lyra's lips, a light to her eyes, and some satisfaction in her mind. She considered his question for a mere second before shrugging her lean shoulders. "The recipe for a couple is rather vague, don't you think? We're two people, doesn't that make us a couple?" She teased generously. Lyra reached for the door to the small restaurant as he commented on her dessert innuendo. "Me, too." She muttered to herself as the hint of a smirk did its best to hide behind her calm emotions.

He smirked. He reached for the door. He came back prepared with an answer. “It is quite puzzling. A couple is only a couple when the two people admit it.” The door opened. “You’ve admitted it yourself, and so have I. It seems that we truly are a couple then huh?” He teased with equal generosity. Looking back upon her date, he couldn’t say he didn’t fancy her. Upon the code of chivalry, the man kept the door open for Lyra. “Ladies first,” He said as he ushered her in. His cool gaze patiently waiting her reaction.

Lyra chose not to reply to Joshua's comment, but instead provided a lengthy and well laid out smile, whispering "Thank you." as she slipped past the man and into the cozy cafe. She wasn't expecting anything out of her date today, but it seemed that that her assumptions may very well be proven incorrect.

Shivers ran down her spine as Bailey walked at a brisk pace down the trail towards Hogsmeade, her robes shielding her from the cold of the growing darkness. In the rush to find out what surprise her mother had waiting for her at the shop, she hadn't bothered to grab anything from the dormitory, but brought with her nothing but a nearly empty book bag instead.

As she reached the main road, the heels of her shoes began to make a muffled clacking noise as she strode up the cobbled street. The nap she had taken must have been shorter than she thought, because a majority of the shop fronts were still lit, and customers continued to stroll in and out of them. Her quick feet proved useful, and she reached Gladrags in less time than she had calculated. Approaching the shop, Bailey could see clearly through the lighted window, which portrayed her mother chatting with a man near the back of the store. Not thinking to raise an eyebrow, she reached for the door, already removing the lightweight bag from her shoulder.

Each step brought Kiernan further towards the village, and he dropped the hood of his dark cloak once he stepped foot out of the alley and out onto the main, cobbled road. It had been years since he had ventured into Hogsmeade, and though little had changed, he felt awkward and out-of-place. The atmosphere was too warm, too happy for the present day Kiernan Deverell. The old Kiernan was a father, a husband, and almost had a heart. Change was inevitable, however, as none of those things related to Kiernan anymore. He had abandoned his children whose love he no longer felt. He had murdered his wife when she had proved unfaithful and unsupportive. But most important of all, the new Kiernan had no heart, and he would be damn surprised if he had a soul.

His dark figure would go unseen to most against the black night, and anyone who laid eyes on him would likely mistake his creeping posture as more creature-like than wizard. As he rounded a sharp corner, a long row of shops came into view, most of which were no longer lit, although some lights still lingered, inviting the night-owl customers. Kiernan spotted a few loitering men outside the Hog's Head, and he quickly straightened his posture, appearing just as human as any other villager out tonight. While he crept along the storefront, he peered into each window, unsure of what he was looking for, or whether or not he would find it. As he reached a darkened clothing boutique, the clacking of his shoes against the stone came to a halt, and his eyes swept repeatedly across the same small sign.

The Oliver family. He read those three words almost a dozen times, but he still couldn't believe it. Of course there could be more than one Oliver family in London, but that would explain why his past search had been cut short when he found his daughter's house boarded up and awaiting sale. Couldn't be... Kiernan convinced himself that his luck was not that great, that he couldn't stumble across what he was looking for by mere accident, with little to no work. To be honest, finding Lyra was not even in his agenda, although it would certainly add to the fun and games. No, his real destination was the castle, where he would undoubtedly find his granddaughter. The word sounded harsh and loathsome as it rattled through his brain. He may have never met the filthy half-blood, but he despised her as if she had severed both his hands from his body.

Just as Kiernan passed the shop, he heard the ring of a bell, and the creak of a door before it slammed shut. He watched in the glass of the next shop over as a young man, who looked to be in his late 30s, strolled away from Gladrags and up swiftly up the road. He watched as the man, his dark brown hair, passed him silently and made his way towards the end of the road, turning off onto a dirt path. Kiernan's heartbeat was audible as he looked from the door, to the man who was quickly growing out of sight, and then at his own reflection in the window. He wasn't sure if it was just a loose bearing in his head, but he could not only swear that he had seen that man before, but he had an uncanny suspicion that the Oliver family might not only consist of his daughter, but possibly his son, as well.

The old man threw the hood of his cloak back over his aging white hair and sped up the road in hopes of catching up with the man. If his suspicion was correct, and this was his son, he would certainly be aware of anyone following too close. He had seen what Braylon had become capable of during the Battle of Hogwarts, most of which he had learned from himself. Kiernan strode carefully down the path, keeping good distance, and staying hidden beneath the shadows. As the man lead him closer and closer to the forbidden forest, a deep, cunning smile formed across the plains of Kiernan's evil face.

Kiernan hid beneath the hood of his cloak, not unusual behavior for the modern day wizard, though if it wasn't for his fear of being recognized by either his son or daughter, he wouldn't even consider doing anything that could risk drawing extra attention to himself. He walked casually up the stone street, his eyes in a greedy search for a shop that could supply him with some parchment and a quill. After peeking nonchalantly into the windows of a few different stores, he finally found one with a stationary section. He glanced up at the freshly painted sign. Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment... Kiernan didn't know who Wiseacre was, but he could have cared less as he dropped his hood and slipped into the brightly lit shop.

It was a Hogsmeade weekend, and plenty of Hogwarts third-years-on-up were chatting up a storm as they wandered in and out of the various shops. Adelaide was alone, though...waiting for one of her housemates to show up. Although it was only October, the temperature was already dropping steadily. She tucked her green-and-silver scarf tighter around her neck, and pulled her hat down further, in order to avoid the cold breezes.

Adelaide had told Zuko to meet her in front of Gladrags. As she waited for him to join her, she noticed a rather mysterious man staring in the window of the shop. His body language alone suggested less-than-savory motives, and gave Adele the creeps. Even as a member of the darkest Hogwarts house, Adele had little use for dark wizards and witches and preferred to spend her time safely removed from them.

She could not leave her spot, though, since she had promised to meet her friend there. So she was glad when the man swiftly moved on to another shop. Adelaide breathed an inaudible sigh of relief as she scanned the crowd yet again.

Whoa!❞ Yuki was dragged into the street of Hogsmeade, chuckling at his fiance's strength, even bearing his child. This is why he knew that his father would come to accept Buffy. She was strong. Stronger than a lot of Slytherin boys that Yuki grew up with.

When his feet caught up with the rest of his body, Yuki wrapped his arm around Buffy, holding her to his hip. It was such a beautiful day out and he wanted to show the world his beautiful fiance. The sun would be jealous of Buffy's radiance.

my heart beats like a drum
A guitar string to the strum
A beautiful song
To be sung

It's oh so quiet... It's oh so still. You're all alone, and so peaceful until...
You fall in love, zing boom! The sky up above, zing boom! Is caving in, wow bam! You've never been so nuts about a guy, you wanna laugh you wanna cry, you cross your heart and hope to die!
'Til it's over and then... It's nice and quiet. But soon again... Starts another big riot!
Buffy hummed the lyrics to this song as Yuki pulled her close to him again, letting her wrap her arms around his neck. Love was one odd thing. It can bring you down on your knees, make you suffer, cry, smile... So what was the use of falling in love? But Buffy liked that feeling. It was...nice. It felt nice to be pressed against Yuki and receive sweet kisses. It might be harder when the baby will be born, but Buffy was sure that they could deal with it perfectly fine. Placing a small peck on Yuki's soft lips, Buffy smiled and tipped her head to the side, looking at him candidly, "So, where should we go?" she asked curiously before shrugged casually, a small, gentle smile across her lips, "We could always walk around in the streets," she suggested, "Or we could just go to Hog's Head or the Three Broomsticks, hm?" she looked up at Yuki lovingly, only to place another kiss on his lips, "I don't mind, really," she mumbled with a smirk before kissing him again.
