Why was it some people only realize how much they love or need something when they lose it? Even Anna didn't know the answer to that. She kept walking, taking a different way back home that led through the forest.
Cassie smiled when she heard him purr. Her fangs got a little longer as she ran then along one of his veins. She was still wondering why he had suddenly changed his opinion on her but for now she wasn't going to complain.

Theo just kept purring, letting her mess with his neck and his veins as he purred more. That all felt so good, which confused him, he should be pushing her away and going after Anna, but no, he was sitting under Cassie, letting her have what she wanted.

She raised the kisses until she met his lips, smirking a little she kissed him again. Cassie pulled away a little wondering what he would do.
Anna kept walking soon reaching the forest. She twirled the knife in her hand as she looked around. The few animals that were there ran away from her as she passed them.

Theo instantly pulled her back in for more, kissing her and watching for a reaction. He smirked, biting her bottom lip and tugging at it lightly, just to tease her a bit.

Cassie started to purr lightly. She wasn't expecting that reaction but it was probably the one she wanted. Maybe, just maybe, that human was out of the picture or at least that was what she was hoping for as she kissed him back.

Theo just smiled, kissing back once more before watching her curiously, wondering what was on her mind. "Why do you try so hard? Why do you want to get with me or my brother?" Theo asked, wanting his answers.

She looked away before pulling away. For some reason Cassie had always had the dream of having a happy family, well as happy as vampires could be. She sighed, not wanting to answer his question. She knew he probably wouldn't understand.

"Cassie, answer it." Theo whined, nuzzling her neck like a little kid would, trying to get her to give in. He calmly held her to him, wondering why she wouldn't tell him. Was it something bad?? Was it only for their money?

She smiled a little before running her fingers through his hair. "You...wouldn't understand." she whispered. Cassie didn't even know how to tell him.

"You underestimate me too much, Cassie. Explain so that you can prove your theory." Theo replied, just keeping his hold on her. He held her tighter and pulled her closer, waiting for her to tell him.

She looked over at him. "Have you....ever thought what it would be like to have an actual...family?" she looked away, not wanting to see his reaction. Cassie would of pushed him away by now and left, since she had never told anyone about this, but his grip was tight.

"Yes, before I was turned. But you see.. I wouldn't try Nixon, as soon as you tried mentioning anything like that, he'd decapitate you.. And burn your body.. Then try to find a way to blow up the remains. I'm guessing you're wanting a family then?" Theo replied softly, forcing her to look at him. He had a sincere smile on his face and leaned in, kissing her tenderly before pulling away.

"Yeah." she whispered after he had pulled away. Cassie lowered her eyes, wondering if he still had his mind on that human but then again if he did, he wouldn't be here with her, right? She usually never acted this way, so this was pretty different to her.

November looked down to Tex then to Eve. "Yes, we have no choice. We'll drag her back kicking and screaming if we have too." She looked to Tex. "You're going to stay here and with a nanny. I don't want you to move from this spot understand? Eve and I are going to go after your mom." She grabbed a female that was walking by and ordered her to take care of Tex. She handed him over to her and looked to Eve. "Let's go."
She transformed quickly and dashed out of the den, following Lixi's trail.
The woman blinked and took Tex in her arms. She didn't know what was going on, but she didn't ask questions either.

Sandulf turned around and looked to Nixon. He growled and stood infront of Lixi, his arm barring her from running up on him. He turned his head to look back at her. "Tex has been crying for you, don't you care about that! Or are you just more concerned with getting yourself killed!"
Cain looked over to Sandulf and Lixi. He could tell by the males stance that he was fond of the female, but so was the vampire he was with. He didn't like the situation. Something was off. "Don't let your guard down. Something is wrong here." Cain bit his finger, as his blood dripped, he grabbed hold of it and transformed it into a whip. He snapped it, and began advancing from the other side, ensuring no escape.

Lixi gave a low growl as the other vampire advanced to the side, holding a whip. She whirled around to face him, her canines bared viciously as she gave him a warning growl. Her eyes stayed on him, watching his every movement as she tried to get away from Sandulf, eager to rip the vampires to shreds. "No.. I'm here to kill that bloodsucker who keeps claiming me.. Now move." Lixi snarled.
Nixon glared at Sandulf as he mentioned 'Tex', assuming that it was the pup that she'd taken earlier. "Mutt... You might as well quit trying to get my Lix, she is mine." Nixon snarled, advancing on Sandulf, leaving Lixi to Cain for now.
Theo smiled, watching Cassie's actions as he pulled her into a hug, trying to cheer her up from whatever she was thinking.
Tex looked up and stared at the female, blinking with curiousity but he stayed quiet. They were all gone, and he didn't know if his mom would come back alive. He whimpered and snuggled into the stranger, wishing that his mom were here.
