So, the other night, soaking in the bath, I finally understood my Father. The anger, the cynicism, the general frustration. It all finally made sense. The sad thing is, of course... he's been dead several years now and we did not part on good terms.

We don't always get the luxury of retracting our statements.
Sometimes people die before we understand why we were wrong...

Apologizing to my Father now is beyound my means.
However, for those who still draw breath...

I was wrong and I'm sorry.

i bothers me, nay, angers me, that the creationists i know refuse to acknowlegde scientific fact. and whats worse is that they get me so flustered that lose my sense of reasoning and the best arguement i can muster into words is "because it just is". gonk

My adoptive uncle supports the BNP.

So much for years of hoping my English family members would be close enough to me politically that shouting matches could be avoided. He's basically my father, but a Londoner! gonk

gonk gonk gonk

I saw a few if their ads when Iwas in the UK awhile back. Absolutely terrified me.

Aren't most Londoners supposed to be slightly more liberal than the rest of the isles?

For the last time there's there's very little to suggest that Paul was anti-gnostic in the letters that he actually wrote.

The British National Party.
Facists basically.

They are racist and generally an unpleasant bunch.

When people opt to ignore logic, reasoning, and the like in favor of what makes them feel better in the morning, you have two basic options.

1) Leave them to their ignorance.
2) Fight their ignorance.

It's your call, just realize any headaches you take up from that point on are the ones you decided to take.

Does BNP remind anyone else of the political party from V for Vendetta? ninja

Someone explain this logic to me.

My co-worker grew up without having so much as met someone who is Rroma until me.

I am too pale, therefore the Rroma are not an ethnicity, let alone something he can understand in common terms as race.

Therefore- G~ isn't a slur.

Pretty much. It might be a reference for all I know, how far back does the BNP stretch?
